Suggestion on converting Champion 3500w to natural gas
I have the basic Champion RV 3500/4000w generator & would like to run it on natural gas. Googled conversion kits & got overwhelmed. I do not need to run on propane or LP, gasoline & natural gas. Anyone have suggestion as to supplier of conversion kits or experience in doing this conversion. I have been without power several times the last few years due to storms & have always had natural gas at the stick house, when all other services where off for days. Mr Wizard please keep me/us updated on the RCA. I have 1 question in reading the spec on amazon it looks to have both a USB2 port & a mini USB, can you confirm this. Also your opinion on the cameras as my wife skypes a lot & a decent camera is needed. Amazon has several sellers of what appears to be the same model with pricing all over the place. update: on wed., 9.4.13, I ordered the GS1000 from seller "mastation" on eBay, shipped from Hong Kong, I understood from the listing that this was the base model without GPS, in todays mail, 1 week from order, I received the unit shipped from Guanzho china, & it is the GPS model. Wont have time to unbox or set up for a few days but found it interesting that I got the wrong item from the wrong shipping point, but sure got here fast. based on this conversation ordered the gs1000 from eBay, hong kong should be here in 10 days, but in the last decade I have had 2 accidents & they were both being rear ended by tail gaters, so thinking about another in the back, cost is a consideration so curious about the dawson cam from amazon at $20, any experience on how long it will last or is it a waste of $ ?,269Views0likes0Comments
