I noticed that up in the track there is a plastic piece on each end with a hole in it that serves to 'trap' a spring-loaded rod and then holds the door in the open or closed position. The plastic piece is attached by a screw in a countersunk hole but the screw was not fully in. It protruded enough that the rod would catch on it as it passed by making for noise and jerky operation. Simply screwing them fully into their countersink made the operation MUCH better. The second issue was the door had quite a bit of side to side movement that would make noise when driving and also made for a poor 'operating experience'. I went to Wallymart and got a pack of their round felt pads and stuck them against the inner wall just inside the opening. In my case I needed a single pad on one side and three pads stacked on the other side to position the door correctly. Made a huge difference...more like a sliding door in a Prevost now! Another fix on the swinging doors was to put a small screw in the door trim adjacent to the latch. I noticed that even in the short time we have had the Winnie, closing the doors was making the trim pull loose since they were only held by staples. Smaller felt pads on the door trim also helped eliminate rattles from those doors and made them close solidly.Re: Love Bugs Florida TurnpikeBack in the 70's when they were even worse (if that even seems possible), quite a few of us would use PAM cooking spray on the front of our cars... You could rinse them off with a garden hose once you got home.Re: "Creaking and noisy' LevelersLCI's response to my question.. Good morning, See the link below for adding anti-stiction fluid to you system. Adding the fluid should help alleviate the popping noise. Fluctuations in temperature will cause the symptoms you are experiencing. http://www.lci1.com/assets/content/support/sheets/TI___191_Adding_Anti_Stiction_Fluid_To_Hydraulic_Systems.pdf Have a nice day, Dan S. Technical Service RepresentativeRe: 2016 Bounder 35K possible purchaseWhat is the purpose of the new vacuum toilets? The few RVs I've had over the years with a smell problem were cured with one of the Camco vent pipe devices. Our current Winne has one of the porcelain toilets and that has been the most 'comfortable' one we have had to date.Re: What do you use for dually air pressure gauge and inflatorGoogle tire valve extenders on Camping World.Re: Battery disconnect questionOn my 2015 Winne the electric step is still powered with disconnect switch off.Re: inverter switchDoes your Fleetwood have a "Magnum Energy" control panel? On my Winnebago (2015) that turns the inverter on and off but it's not very intuitive looking at it.You have to scroll through a few screens to get to the on/off control on mine.Re: Looking for a motorhomeSuch a short unit makes it hard to find a walk-around. We hated the corner bed we had in our 1st motorhome. Everyone to their own but a walk-around is a necessity for us... You may have to go slightly longer...or consider one of the short Class As.Re: Holding tank odorI had the EXACT same problem with my previous Fleetwood Flair AND our new Winnebago Vista. Don't understand why the 'drop pipe' has to go so far down into the tank. What I have gotten into the habit of is, after using the toilet for 'number 2', I'll refill the bowl with water to the top (holding the pedal partially down) and then flush the bowlfull of water. This seems to disperse the solid waste and prevent the buildup at the drop pipe. Also, the extra water seems to help when you dump the black tank. If you let it build up too much, it can get solid enough down there to prevent any further waste from entering the tank and you will have what looks like a stopped-up toilet. Nasty. Before it gets that bad, you'll probably notice the flush goes down with air bubbling back along with the familiar stink. Since we adopted the 2nd full bowl water flush procedure, we have not had the problem. Still do not understand the 'long pipe'...Re: "Creaking and noisy' LevelersI was posting about 2 different problems, noise with jacks down and 'jack down' error with jacks up. Sorry for the confusion. Going to buy some 'Cat oil'.........
