I am a newbie and we have a smaller travel trailer 24ft ultra lite and with 2 kids under the age of 8 we use ours all the time. Recently we stopped at Bass Pro spent the morning looking around the store when we were ready to leave we made sandwiches and ate at the table in the camper. It was easy, fast and cheaper than stopping again. We open the door and windows and it cools down pretty quick. We are getting ready to take the camper from MO to Wisconsin and on the way home plan to stop somewhere 1/2 way to break up the drive. Found some towns that have city parks with campsites and I plan on possibly utilizing that as an option. No problem setting up, it's much better than when I owned a pop up.Re: How many trips?Heading out next weekend for the first trip of the new year. have planned trips for 1 weekend each month through October and then hunting season I will take a week long trip out of state in September to Colorado (elk) and two weeks in Missouri & Kansas (deer). Also, a week with the family in Wisconsin so I'm hoping we use our trailer several times this year. So right around 34 nights. this is our second season with the trailerRe: Passport Ultra Lite 238MLI really appreciate the input here. Sounds like I'm getting what I expect an entry level camper that I'm hoping will last me for a few years until I decide what I want in a camper and tow vehicle. I really do appreciate those who took time to respond. Thank youPassport Ultra Lite 238MLI'm looking at purchasing a 2016 Passport and I have not seen to many post praising or criticizing. It's a 25 foot camper and I will be pulling it with a Toyota Tacoma Crew Cab with an electric trailer brake and equalizer hitch with sway bars. Not ideal but it is what I have right now. Will be upgrading to F-150 at some point next year. Came across what I think is a decent deal.Re: Right size truck ???I have a Toyota Tacoma and it's rated at 6,500# was looking at a camper that was beneath the 6,500# limit and I still didn't buy because I don't want to be that close to the maximum limit. Currently in the market for a 1/2 ton TV which I will buy before I decide on a model and style of TT. Just because it can tow it doesn't mean it should tow it. Looked like a nice trailer.
