Even better, you can look at Google maps or Google earth and see what you need to see also. Good luck, have fun! //KMacRe: Reviews on thousand trails camping pass?We only camp ~3 weeks/year. We were spending about $35/night (give/take). At the time we signed up last year, the membership fee was perhaps $2 or $3/night more than the $35 we were already paying so we decided to try it for a four year stint. We have yet to use it, however we hope to do some "work-cations" where I can work (I work remotely) as well as our 3 weekly vacations and even reduce our $/night even more. We only chose the PNW area as that is where we do most of our "camping". Your mileage may vary. Good luck and have fun! //KMacRe: Mattresses, what’s your recommendation and why?We got the Tochta mattress, where you can customize the firmness on either side. That way she gets the softer side, and I get the firmer side. Good luck! //KMacRe: Chevy 2500 drivers, trailer tmpsHowever they have the smaller size stem (.435") and only go up to 100PSI. Not made for 16" or larger tires. You can get larger stems, then you are limited by PSI. Good luck! //KMacRe: Best road to Oregon Coast (Fort Stevens) rhagfo wrote: enblethen wrote: Avoid I-90 and WA SR 18. Coming west from Spokane on I90 take US 395 to I84 to US 30. I agree with the I90 to 395 to I84, then to me it is a tossup between 30 or 26. Either way you still need to pass through Portland. My experience has been schedule you pass through between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. Or what we did last year, if you go US395 to I84. Take I205 N to I5 in Portland/Vancouver to Longview. Follow truck route to cross the river back into Oregon. Then US30 to Ft Stevens. The stretch of US30 from Portland through Scappose/St Helens/etc... is very slow with lots of stops. YMMV. Good luck and have fun! //KMacRe: Bed cover for F350 with fifth wheel hitchYou can try a canister type of bed cover (google it). You might even find someone's youtube video where he had one installed and a combo tool-box/fuel tank installed that used the empty space under the canister. However I do not remember if he had a long bed or a standard bed. You could also (if you do not already have the bed fuel tank) get the bigger OEM fuel tank replacement and not take up room in your bed. Good luck! //KMacRe: why aren't the frame rails of TT set evenly from the sides?Could the driver side of your trailer be "heavier" than the passenger side? Therefore the weight would be evenly distributed? Just an idea. //KMacRe: 5th wheel adapter for goose neckHe may be referring to a "goosebox" which does not cause issues with your chassis warranty. The one I am thinking of is made by Reese, however there is another out there that I have seen but do not remember the manufacturer. Oh, and I would use it (if I could) so I do not have to remove a 250lb fifth wheel hitch in/out of my truck bed if I wanted to use my pickup as a... well... pickup. //KMacRe: exchanging propane cylinder that came with TT@GrandpaKip: Do happen to have a picture of yours? Where did you get them with the float gauge? Thanks! //KMacRe: Goosebox vs. fifthwheelThe "add air to airbag" was an issue with loose fitting(s) letting air out. Once they tightened the fitting up, all was good. This has not been a problem on their second generation. If/when we move up to 5th wheel, the Goosebox is high on my list for the same reasons as the OP. YMMV. Good luck. //KMac
