This is because they are non business days. Was limited last year because of this when I was trying to purchase a large item."Problems with ATMs in San Carlos/Gyuamas today (Sunday)I have just received an alert that no money from all ATMs in that area with US debit cards . Nationals having no problems?Re: power washer Land HP 9145OK thanks all. I got it working with more pressure in teh input. It turns out I was using a street pressure tap, which is very low pressure and that is why all houses have Tanocos or Cisterns on top of their houses that get filled and give at least a bit more pressure. Some Gringos are not impressed with the pressure for showers. In my RV days I had a spare pump that I would install in line to the rig to ease noise of internal pump , and I had a problem in that when using the unit DC pump, water was used from the fresh water tank to supplement the water flow. And thanks for needle answer, makes sense but I do not know why instructions did not say anythin. I actually got this washer from Home Depot and it looks like it is manufactured in Mexico 1600 psi and I only paid 1300 pesos at 16 pesos to the US buck is only 81$ US and no tax. I love Mexico.power washer Land HP 9145I am in Mexico and just bought a Land power washer from Home Depot in guadalajara and am back on the coast (5 hrs) I have experience with these things and set up with water etc and It will not work and even with tap pressure and opening the trigger no water comes out. any of the others I owned water came out. the instructions are poor and in english. There is a thin needle type long pin taped to the instructions but I cannot find a hole and I think it might be to release an air lock as the tap pressure here is only from gravity from a cistern on roof! And this is common to all Mexico. Can anyone give me some ideas as I have a worker waiting to power clean my roof!Re: RV Legionaires Death in RV Melaque MexicoIs there a test device to see if there is mold lurching in a rig. I think this could be a bigger problem than what is realized. There has been no public talk about the problem down here. People are so insulare and do not believe in the RCAF flight Safety moto. Learn from other peoples mistakes because you are not going to live long enough to make them all yourself. And Report and Talk about safety issues.Re: RV Legionaires Death in RV Melaque MexicoSee you mate. What about the other 4 rigs that are there. I know number one was full of mold 5 yrs ago. they smoke in it and air condition it . I wouldnt step inside myself??RV Legionaires Death in RV Melaque MexicoAn American and his wife who set up a permanent RV under a palapa at Laguna Del Tule RV Park in Melaque have had a terrible fate. Suspected mold from summer storage, then constant use of air conditioning and closed unit in winter. Phil Poole of Wisconsis died in Manzanillo hospital with lung infection and Carol is very sick. Mold is a killer Beware.Re: 10 Year and Registration MatchKeep your documentation for the 10 year handy as I have been asked to produce it at KM 21 and at other Banerjitas. I had one on a C Class , got a new passport , sold the rig and registered another rig without turning in the old 10 yr.Tenacatita updateI went to Tenacatita today after a wonderful sulphur hot bath at Aquacalientes. Anyway . I stopped at the little dry camp spot one click from the beach and talked to a Gringo Chile who has following news. 1.Today 31 Dec the military came in and disarmed the Auxiliary Police. 2. He says that he hopes to move into his palapa spot in undisputed area tomorrow. 3. The free beach will be open. 4. I do not know the difference between the disputed area and non disputed but it sounds like the road will be open to go down to end of beach. 5. There is a facebook page on Tenacatita and Chile will post once he gets settled and comes into Melaque for supplies. There were quite a few on the beach, but I did not notice anything different from the time I went there last week for a swim. Apparantly Esso competing with Pemex but still govt controlled. Go figure eh. Anyway, I am glad that the poor Nationals are hopefully not going to have to pay more. Less would be better. What happens when crude hits 50 bucks a barrel? On the National last night, pump prices well below a looney on the prairies and the AB economy is going to take a hit. and less pesos to our loonie
