Hope you can make it here again one day.Re: Class A qualityElvis, I see you’re in Ottawa. You might look at a Triple E Commander (for gas) or Empress (for diesel) up to 2010 for a class a comparable mid to higher end Newmars.Re: Gasser guys and gals ...why not a diesel ?For us a 32’ works. Looked at diesels in the 32-34 range and they had less storage than our gasser.Re: Where is everybody?Still on VI, no plans to go south this winter but will do Hawaii in January. Most of the people I know that go south are planning to go. They are a mix of house, townhouse and rv lot owners as well as ordinary rv’ers like us.Re: Anybody crossed over yet?Seen two CA, one WA and one OR in Port McNeill past few days.Re: Electric bikes !! Land Yachters wrote: While all of this ebike knowledge is watching this thread, I wanted to ask a related question. My wife and I have been on the road for the past 10 months or so and carry 2 regular bikes on a standard thule rack on the back of our toad. We want to get ebike for her but want to know how to handle rack for transportation. She has heavy Schwinn (around 40 lbs) that I hate to load on to rack, but wonder best rack for heavier ebike. We would get rid of her Schwinn so only need room for her ebike, maybe a trek Townie? and my Trek road bike. Appreciate the input. We use a tire-mounted Yamaha rack on back of toad for our regular bikes. Bike shop told me they’re only rated for about 35ibs each bike when he saw my ebike on it. We now use a Kuat 2 for the ebike mounted on a 2” receiver; Thule makes a similar rack. BTW, we bought two Moscow Plus mountain bikes. Great bikes but had to sell one and get a Rad City step-thru for my wife. Comfort getting on and off a bike is important, especially for feeling safe while riding.Re: Canadians: 65+ are getting vaccines now azdryheat wrote: Will Canada be reimbursing US for shots given to Canadians in the US? Or am I missing something. Apparently it is a loan and Canada must reciprocate later.Re: Tire ChainsYou aren’t legally required to carry chains between those dates, at least in B.C.Re: Out the door....One of our favourite spots. Hope to get there next summer.Re: Border closure extended..againI don’t think they can. I know four couples that have places in Indio, Palm Desert, La Quinta, and Tucson. At this point one says they’ll go when allowed and three say it depends on the situation there. They would be able to return but would have to quarantine if the border restrictions are still in place.
