Drive it and see what if anything shows up as any sort of problem. If so, work on a solution. Agree. I suppose flat mid West terrain, not towing anything, I think Stock or at most, Stable Loads, will be fine. For steep mountain passes like the Cascades, 42in extension receiver hitch for towing heavy load, bad freeway roads (winter ruts, frost heaves, etc), traveling at 60-65mph, I would try suspension mods in this order: Stock, Stable Loads, Bilsteins, Air Bags, Cabover Struts, and see how it goes until you like the ride. BTW: My 1191 comes in on a weigh scale at a tad over 5000 lbs loaded.Re: DRW regrets? Roadlover wrote: Not for a moment. I love both my camper and truck. The trailer, if supports this a hould have come with the 7 pin already I would have thought. So does the trailer cable have a 7 to 4 or 5 flat adapter right now? I have the surge brake with 7 pin connector, but solenoid has failed. So need to keep lockout pin handy. It's saved me bieing tucked into a corner. Use 18" of 1/2" Velcro with a slit at about 1/2 along the length. Inset the lockout pin into slit and then wraparound the trailer tongue when needed.Re: Towing issue42" super truss works perfect for my setup.Re: Torklift Tiedowns monkey44 wrote: RZAR66 wrote: mike740ski wrote: Ranger Smith wrote: Any one using Torklift tie downs on a 2014 Ford Dually with 8' bed. I have air bags, lowers and uppers. I went in order: airbags, then lowers, then uppers. I recommend uppers first, and you might not need the lowers in my experience.Re: Can Our F350 Carry a Lance 1191 Safely? mike740ski wrote: bobndot wrote: It would be best to hear from actual 1191 owners who visited a scale, so lets hope they post and bring us up to date.
