slide floor rotting
anyone else having problems with rotting floors in their 3905 voltage mine is only 3 years old and its looking to cost around 2,000 to fix it. the shop plans on using marine grade plywood. i used two battery chargers with built in inverters while i was hunting in idaho wilderness each one lasted 6 hours per night for 2 nights so if you are able to charge them during the day you would only need one they cost a little over a hundred bucks but were well worth it walmart carries them they have 120 volt plugs on them. we were there in july stayed 10 nights at Custers Gulch campground in a pull through site lots of space could see entrance to custer state park from site. close to a lot of stuff wild life loop in custer state park , jewel cave , mammouth site, mt rushmore and much more you must go to the Purple Pie place for dinner and desert their chicken pot pie is incredible as is the raspberry rhubard jalepeno pie. check out adventure rentals and rent a polaris razor and see some sites that cant be seen from the road. nice young couple run it and they are fantastic! enjoy your trip840Views0likes0CommentsRe: Do diesels make financial sense?
i beleive that when your pulling over 12,000 lbs the torque in a diesel outweighs the gas motor fuel mileage is not a concern when pulling that much weight . alot of things to consider if you pull on flat land mostly youll do fine with gas . i just did a 5000 mile trip with my duramax and 14,000 lbs trailer through mountains and flat land average fuel 11 mpg total cost 1356.00 in fuel but at no time did i have to worry if i had enough motor to do the job. hope this helps.151Views0likes0CommentsRe: Mass to Virginia Beach or Outer Banks
Gov, Nice bridge is a narrow 2 lane bridge on 301 crossing from Maryland to Virginia I have crossed it many times with my 5th wheel toy hauler not the nicest ride but no problems crossing there's enough room for 18 wheelers to pass in the opposite direction may want to have your spouse close their eyes while you go over(haha)397Views0likes0Commentsbent 5th wheel rail
so i had to use my slider for the first time to get out of a campground a couple of weeks ago , was a terrible experience, alot of banging and noise alot of people staring due to the noise my 5th wheel didnt want to slide properly finally it moved long story short when i unloaded the 5 th wheel i noticed the front rail was bent up in the air abit has anyone else had this problem and is it a common problem832Views0likes2Comments
