There looks to be a track of some kind on the oem gutters. I was hoping there was an extension of some kind that slid in there. Maybe I can just use 3m tape and plasticQuestion on gutterI bought a keystone hideout 31rbds a year ago. No issues we have loved it. However we camped in a lot of rain this past weekend and realized something. This has a rear door into the bathroom and right above that the gutter seems to have a bit of a low area or something as with heavy rain it pours over the gutter right above the door. It then gets in between the door and frame and some water drips into the bathroom when you open the door. The caulking is good so it's not getting behind the door just running in between the door and frame. I put a level on it and tried to see if its low there or sloped up in the back and everything looks fine. IS it just a capacity issue? Anything I can put oh the gutter do direct that overflow to either side of the door? I don't care that some spills out but don't want it happening right at the door. Thoughts or suggestions?Re: Another can i tow this question...kind ofi have the hitch already, and have an integrated brake controller. Picking it up on Friday. I have a 3/4 ton I could borrow but I hate borrowing vehicles. So we will see how my truck pulls it.Another can i tow this question...kind ofLet me preface this by saying we are permanent campers, and don't travel other than that. This was our third year and I don't see us doing anything different. We love the place, out neighbors, and its pretty close to home, and with a kid in sports if we weren't permanent I don't think we would camp. But we are upgrading our camper from a 25' to possibly a Keystone Hideout 31RBDS. I know its more than I would tow on a regular basis with a half ton. But I only have to get it 60 miles to my camp site then its staying there. Heres the numbers, I have a 2014 Silverado crew. GVWR is 7200. Max payload is 1710. Rated for trailering 9100. Gross combined 15000. Curb weight of truck 5456. Camper is 7600 dry, 9600 GVWR, tongue weight listed at 865 (im guessing this is based on dry weight?). I know its right at the limits, but looks to be within specs. My truck will be empty with just me, camper will not have water but will have 2 batteries and 2 30b LP bottles. I have a weight dist hitch and sway bar. What are your thoughts?Re: Thoughts on this 2014 CherokeeWell...phony or not it is what the manufacturer lists as MSRP listed on more sites than just this dealer. I thought everything looks good. Some of the finish trim could be cleaner but not terrible by any means. Some nice extras like under awning led and interior accent led lighting.Thoughts on this 2014 CherokeeI'm looking at this new 2014 Cherokee 294bh. 2 options packages outdoor kitchen with the layout we like. I have never bought a new tt just used. mSRP is 36900 and he has 21900 on it. Seems like a good deal. Any thoughts Cherokee in general? Thoughts on price? We are going to another forest river dealer who carries Salems tomorrow to look as well. But that price seems hard to beat.
