Re: Highway 287 or Highway 64 leaving Amarillo to Denver
I’d advise not driving through Denver. We went from Amarillo to Limon, to Greeley. Then north on I25 to Casper and then through the Wind River Canyon on Cody. The only rough stretch I remember is around Boise City, OK and it’s pretty short.373Views0likes0CommentsRe: August Crowds?
We were in YNP last August around eclipse time. One day it was so crowded the rangers closed the Old Faithful area because of gridlock. We were staying at Fishing Bridge and had to go north at Madison and over to Canyon to get back. Worse it's ever been in our 25+ trips there. Whoever has the 36’ rig better call now for reservations in Fishing Bridge. There’s a very small number og sites over 35’. Our friends weren’t able to go with us last August because all the longer sites were gone. He’s had his reservation for 2018 for almost a year.117Views0likes0Comments
