(they already think so.)Re: Our New Baby..............Nice rig! And beauty to part it in. Great combo. Have loads of fun!!Re: My Summer ProjectBeautiful job! You really need to point potential buyers to that link!Re: Plastic Potty to Porcelain Throne?Dang, Dutch, you have ruined my dream...I was afraid of that. Guess I'll have to follow your instructions and try to find a short china potty. Ah well, saves the messy work...! Thanks so much!Re: Plastic Potty to Porcelain Throne? Thanks, DF! Exactly the kind I've been looking at, but what is under that carpeted box under the plastic commode? I guess my post was vague, but I don't need more height, I just want to do away with the short plastic thing and have a porcelain/china thing and the carpeted box would make the new one too tall. :( I could just rip out the box and find out for myself, but I was hoping someone could tell me what to expect before doing so.Plastic Potty to Porcelain Throne?I'm sure someone here has done this upgrade, but I can't seem to find any info on it. I have a short plastic potty in my bathroom sitting on a carpet-covered (ick!) box. Is that box ONLY there for height adjustment to make it taller? Can I rip that box out, redo the floor and, er, uh, potty pipe into the holding tank and the water line to the new porcelain/china throne and be good? {please say yes, please say yes, please say yes}Re: Finding a state inspector for your RVThanks, PPnG! Great idea!!Re: Finding a state inspector for your RVWell that's just great! I just drove my new (to me) 1997 Eldorado home and it's gonna have to have a sticker. I live 50 miles from Lubbock. Here's hoping Camping World can do an inspection and that I don't get caught on the way in!Re: Fireplace Pros and Cons<--- is sorry she missed the "romancing in front of a fireplace" posts, dang it! sowego, THANKS for that. Us noobs need all the help we can get and frozen/busted plumbing is one thing I don't want to learn by experience!Re: Android-Apple-MicrosoftIf you're going to read books and do email and surf a little, any of them will do. Yes, your iPad will bring more money when you decide to swap, but the apps are only available on iTunes, which is ok if you swap to another Apple product. Some apps can be shared with your smartphone if you have an iPhone. Windows is fine and has tons of apps and she's probably already familiar with it. I have an Android smartphone and Windows on my computers. They can't share apps, but I use them for different things. If I were going to do just the above, I'd buy a Kindle Fire. It's Android based and they have their own app store you can use your Amazon account with. {My credentials? In the computer biz since 1985, starting with Commodore 64. Master's degree in Computer Information Science.) And it IS true that you don't have to get malware on a Window's system. It DOES depend on where you go on the Internet and what links you click and what you sign up for with your GOOD email address. You DO have a temp account that you can use for newsletters, etc, right? :) Just my 2c worth... Norma
