We will not need that GVWR mark, 4 bikes and an occasional trip with the golf cart(bought it more for the layout and golf cart). Dealership sold me a 12k/1200 equalizer hitch, had 2 different people assure me 12k was enough. I was looking at the 14k equalizer hitchRe: Bumper pull toy hauler, adding a second A/C unitI’m in the same boat as you, been trying to figure out how to install one up front. Not to hijack your thread, but how much does your TH weigh and what do you tow it with? I have a similar size, 35 ft weighing about 11k loaded up with golf cart, bikes etcRe: Time to buy a new TTI would say Freedom Express bunk models but mine has been at the dealership for 2 weeks for warranty work and still don't have an update. Yeah and we've had it for about 5 months now. Soooooo not going recommend Coachmen right nowOutdoor kitchen modificationI'm basically wanting to do away with my outdoor kitchen on our Freedom Express. It's the small kitchen with the small fridge and sink. Would like to put a tv mount somewhere and maybe use for extra storage. Anyone with any ideas or seen any modifications to a kitchen similar to ours? ThanksRe: Freedom Express Wheel Chocks bobndot wrote: https://www.rvtrader.com/listing/2015-Coachmen-FREEDOM-EXPRESS-248RBS-122371918 if your tt axles looks like this one in the link why can't you use wide x choks like the the ones in the link ? Nice find, didn't think those would fit. Thanks for the info!Re: Winnebago Minnie PlusThanks for the links. That trailer is the Minnie Plus, same one I'm looking at but it's red. Pretty nice set up with the bunks and the entertainment center directly in front of couch and dinette. And nice size bathroomWinnebago Minnie PlusAnyone own or had any experience with them? Looks like a well built unit. I'm still debating on going to a little bit larger trailer and this one has caught my eye. It's the 27BHSS modelRe: Recommendations for a new trailer. darsben1 wrote: Welcome to the forum. didn't you like your exact same post from earlier? https://forums.goodsamclub.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/thread/tid/29395038.cfm Not that it matters, think they are taking the advice and posting to Travel Trailer forum instead of Class B Forum which is a good idea.Re: Freedom Express Wheel ChocksThanks for the replies. I should have been more clear, I am looking for chocks to add more stability to the trailer. The regular chocks will always be usedFreedom Express Wheel Chocksanyone have any advice for wheel chocking the freedom express TTs? My model has a wide gap between the tires, don't even think the wide version of the X chocks will work. The simple thing would be to measure tires but my Trailer has been at dealer for well over a week now for some warranty work, probably be 2 more weeks before I get it back. Thanks
