Simple, solid design and a great value. Curt seems to be more prevalent in the South. Hopefully someone with more experience can jump in and add to this.Re: Expertise and Experience Not So Much RVI used to do a lot of antique auctions and appraisals. I have been an expert witness in a few court cases - mainly divorces and bankruptcy cases. You can spend a lot of time outside the courtroom waiting to testify. Set your fee high enough to make it worthwhile. What would you normally make for a days work? Double it. bump it up some more if you have to pay for parking near the courthouse. Make sure you get a signed contract. You get paid whether they call you in or not.Re: Elevation Changes on I40 between NC and TNAround Waynesville NC you will be at about 3,000 ft. Knoxville, TN is about 900. Not sure if those are the highest and lowest elevations on your route, but that should give you an approximate range.Re: So now, how to do SanAntonio? You must be taking the scenic route.Re: Beware of Keystone RV productsWelcome and good luck.Re: Getting around Houston going west?Straight through I-10 on Sunday morning.Re: campground brimingham alabama montgomery alabamaThe Woods RV Park in Montgomery. I-65 Exit 168 Passport America rate was $15 (iirc). No reservations needed. In fact, you won't get Passport rate if you make a reservation. All spaces are pull through. Easy walk to several fast food places. Kangaroo across the street is easy to get in for gas. We have stayed for an overnight here half a dozen times. US 331 is at the same exit and this location gives us a 3 hour drive on to Topsail the next day.Re: best way south to santa rosa beach fl Tiger02 wrote: You can also get off at exit 168 off I-65 in south Montgomery and pick up 331 there and take it all the way to Hwy 98. This is the way we go. Heading down Oct 15. BTW, there is a rest area on 331 at about Alabama MM 8.Re: best way south to santa rosa beach fl sch911 wrote: I-70 to Louisville then I-65 to AL exit 114. Then AL SR55 to Florala, AL. Then US331 to Santa Rosa Beach, FL. ????? I-70? I-71 would be my choice for the first leg. :)Re: A little paranoia can be a good thing. korbe wrote: The bouncing puts a lot of stress on the rear end. Are we still talking about bike racks?
