I think they are free, and the blimps are huge in person!Re: Fort Lauderdale, Fl.If you give me a hint of what your interests are, I can give you some suggestions. My folks lived there for years, but my sister still does so she is a good reference for currently available possibilities. Restaurants, shopping, golf? The greater Ft. Laud/Miami area has a lot!Re: Indigo Bluffs in Empire MichiganThe Sleeping Bear Dunes are so cool! When we were there we had a wine tour service pick us up at Indigo Bluffs and take us out for the day on the Leelanau peninsula to the wineries. It was a great day and worth the $ to be driven around and ride. Enjoy your trip.Re: SC State Parks Update ??Read with interest from wildtoad that MBSP was closed because we are headed there Saturday. This may be an update, but I just checked scstateparks website and MB state park is not listed as one of the closed parks. Huntingdon says opens tomorrow 9/13. i hope the parks affected will recover soon.Re: Myrtle Beach and hurricaneWe have reservations for 9/16 for a week. Too early to tell which direction it's going to go. Might have to change plans -- might not. But it's inconsequential whether I get to go -- the people who don't have a choice and live in the path really need our prayers and resources. God bless them.Re: Michigan Hwy. 31Thank you! I appreciate your input!Re: Michigan Hwy. 31Yes, thank you all for the info. Hornet28: we are going to Munising. We only have a few days, but I'm really looking forward to it!Michigan Hwy. 31We will be traveling from Traverse City to the upper peninsula in a few weeks. When I mapquest it, the time for travel is virtually the same for hwy 31 as it is for 75. My question is -- is 31 a good hwy or is it full of lights and small towns? I have a 40' fifth wheel. I'm not opposed to seeing the sights, but i just don't want surprises. Thanks for your knowledge!!Re: Michigan TripTravelnutz, You certainly are a great ambassador for Michigan and we look forward to our MI trip last week in August! Thanks for all your great info and being a positive contributor to the forum. No one has mentioned wineries in the Leelanau and Harbor peninsulas. We are looking forward to checking those out!Re: Front living roomsWe have a 2013 Open Range 386flr. Loved it from the moment I saw it. You do have to go up into LR and also up into BR. But we are only in our 50's. Use it or lose it! Because both ends are elevated, we have lots of basement storage. I have 3 sons over 6' 2" so heAd room has never been an issue either. You just have to look at the different models available and see if it fits YOU. There are always plenty of people that find reasons it's not right for them. That's why they make so many! I have always felt like mine was an apt. On wheels. Enjoy the hunt!
