It follows the Fraser River canyon, the scenery is unbelievably beautiful. Stop at Hall's Gate and take the excursion down. From Cache Creek continue on Hy1, through Kamloops to the Banff area. Just east of Field BC is To go National Park (there are a couple of rustic campgrounds) but more interesting/scenic is Takakkaw Falls. I'm not sure if you will be able to access with your RV, vehicle length and mountain road switchbacks. Ken From the Banff area, I would highly recommend a day trip up the Icefields Parkway to the Columbia Icefields. I will try to add links to Hall's Gate Takakkaw Falls Columbia Icefields KenRe: May have towed too much weightAm I reading the original post correctly? You bought? the Pilot in January and they had to change the transmission fluid twice to get rid of the burned smell , that was long before towing. If that's correct, the transmission was badly damaged, long before you started towing. Hopefully covered by some type of warranty. KenRe: Residential refrigerator door shelf failuresI had one break on my home fridge. I used glue (I think Gorilla Glue from the colour) Its been holding now for about 5 years. The repair is not visible behind the clear shelf. Mine broke because of a heavy load in it and getting bumped getting something else out. KenRe: Residential fridge door locksWalmart or Amazon etc. Baby department. Lots or choices for child (adult) proofing items, many are applied with 3M adhesive tape. Maybe one that sticks on the side of the fridge/cabinet and the other end on the door KenRe: RefrigeratorTurned off? While in storage, days or week. traveling, 6-8 hours. or accidentally turned off. How full is it, refrigerated cold foods, large thermal mass takes longer to cool down. How often is the fridge door opened? Ambient temps outside 40 or 60 or 90, at back of fridge and inside RV, air conditioning running. Personally, if not running for 6 hours in daytime, fridge half full, temps around 85, I would not trust any perishables, throw the milk out. KenRe: Replace air conditionerIf yours is built into the roof, like many Roadtreks, its not as simple as the 4 bolts. Google/YouTube is your friend Roadtrek A/C replacement. KenRe: Storage RV lot with GFIC breakersIs it the GFCI tripping or the actual circuit breaker that feeds the gfci outlets that is tripping? Sometimes GFCI outlets don't play well together and will trip the first one one line (my experience several times). Try turning off the circuit breaker in your MH panel that feeds your GFCI outlet(s) and see if that corrects the problem. No cost, just a little time, probably more time when you forget to turn it back on when using the MH. KenRe: Should I re-winterize?As Grandpa Kip said "peace of mind". Minimal cost and time, rather than finding out next camping trip that you have a problem. You might be OK, But!! How accurate is your weatherman. KenRe: RV salvage enblethen wrote: Ford engine parts are fairly easy! There is nothing fancy or RV only for drive train parts. You can get some good parts at an auto/ light truck salvage yard. What do you need exactly? X2. One advantage of a c-class. KenRe: Tire aspect ratioActually check tire info sticker in the drivers door jamb. That will give you the correct size and specs that Ram recommends for that specific vehicle. It's possible that a previous owner put on a different size and spec tire, just to save money. I Ken
