I will noe gave access to electric and I know we will have things we need to keep refridgerated. How long will a tank of gas last if it wasn't s only running the fridge?Re: 5th wheel measurement vs lengththis is what I am thinking... ***Not to scale!!!! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1KwTWHjTKIxLuZ4-Th75EnUrUQppVY-sj/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nT4aZbA9lQMcQNgnA2mWqyV0i50qeiFV/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1rqCJ7XnTXI47xPTJ9qiIEHF12yzg6AmU/view?usp=sharingRe: 5th wheel measurement vs lengthin everyone opinion would a 14' door be large enough? Say it will sag and only open to 13' 6"?5th wheel measurement vs lengthI am curious how manufacturers measure the length of their units? Do the measure the absolute longest tip to tail of the unit including the hitch nose or do they just count the floor length? We are getting ready to build a new garage and I want to make sure it is either wide enough or deep enough to get an entire 5th wheel camper in there and close the door. I am wanting 40x40, with the back 10-12feet being about 4 feet lower that the front so I can back in the camper across the back of the garage and not need to have super high walls and a 14' door in the front. Where I am building has a natural slope away from the existing driveway so with the back 10-12' being lower the camper can be backed in across the back without digging it out...Re: How to know when Leak is fixed???Correct...but won't the air pressure find the easiest way out? Doors, windows, and hatches would seem easier than a leak I can't see with my eyes?Re: How to know when Leak is fixed???I put a dehumidifier in the camper for now. I have taken out 2gal of water in 2 days. The toof liner has tightened up considerable. I am planning on trying a pressure test when I have some free time. Concern with pressure test/same with the dehumidifier will be that it is an old super light feather light model and I think I will need to duct tape every window and external access door. How to know when Leak is fixed???I had a leak in my roof, but only once did I find water in the camper. I found a slit in the roof near the antenna and Dicored it in. Since then I have not found any water in the camper. Does this mean that I found the leak??? At the time of the leak the vinyl liner was sagging off the board it is glued to. Since then the vinyl is sagging/separating way worse. Is the continued sagging a sign of there still being a leak or a sign that I fixed the leak and the moisture is not trapped in the ceiling?Re: Light Bulbs overheating????Trying to figure out posting pic!!?!?!?!?!?!Light Bulbs overheating????I pulled the camper out of storage to get ready for an upcoming trip. I noticed that a couple interior light bulbs are burned out so I pulled gem out to see what I needed for replacements and what I found is in ge pics below. I pulled a couple more to see what he looked like and nine were as bad but we're on their way. Any thoughts? Microwave/convection combo opinion???We have one in our 5'er, so I know alot of us have experience with them, but have never used it for anything besides a microwave. Anyway, we are doing a small upgrade to our home kitchen and DW was thinking that we should look into a microwave/convection oven to replace our old micro only. We think it would be useful especially when entertaining and needing an second oven. Like I said above we have never used the one in our camper as an oven so I am looking for opinion, info, and advice,..... Do you use your convection part of your microwave a lot? Are you happy with the results? Are there certain things that you will/will not cook with it?use it for? Does it heat up quickly? How hot can you get it?
