Have pulled it from south Louisiana west to Cali. across north Nevada & Utah. North to Nebraska and pretty much across the south. Find the build to be sturdy & well built. Used it during a hurricane for several members of the family when the power was out. If I was shopping for another TH, I would not hesitate to look into the Fuzion again. As far as Camper World, I have never had dealings with them but I have read many, many bad reviews on service after the sale, just an FYI.Re: Is the 2015 CHEVY SILVERADO 3500HD a good tow rigI agree with the Chevy. It's funny because I find that my Chevy is much more comfortable than the other two. I did have a Dodge and the motor was great just the ride was very hard. I've pulled my rig from Lousiana to Cali., from Louisiana to Nebraska and all stops in between and it has preformed great. My only complaint is the fuel tank size in my 09. But like the others have said its preference, It's what you like.Re: Will be trading to a 5th Wheel. Which TV. (F350 or Ram 3500)Dodge has the power BUT the single axel is so light in the rear with no load it's dangerous ( I know I wreaked my brand new one due to a fishtail). I know the dully is much better in the handling department, not sure about the ride. The Fords are generally nice over all and ride better. I'm not sure about the newer engine models but I know a couple years ago guys talked about the engine topping off in power while driving through mountains. BTW....Loved my Dodge but after the way the rear end just went out from under my the wife just did not feel comfortable driving it, so we made the change.Re: What is really deductible?Yes, yes, yes, YES!!! :-)Re: Would you take your fiver down a fire road?absofreakinlutely NO!!!!! Bad enough our rigs take the abuse of normal roads, no way I take it on something that a four wheeler should be on.Re: Thought about switching to a motorhomeGoing through this myself. I LOVE my 5th wheel but the wife hates to drive my truck, with or without the rig. The youngest is going off to college and empty nest is already getting to my wife. She wants to be able to take off on her own if I'm at work and go spend the weekend with the daughter. So we have been looking around at different layouts and classes. It will be a bit before we change but it will happen so I am reading every comment with interest.Re: Has anybody changed out their lower garage bunk?I have seen that as well. I have the lower bunk that turns into a table. Was thinking about the same thing. Wonder if it can be done myself?Re: Anyone travel with Gen running to power AC? mowdoc wrote: You can run the gen down the road with no problems but I found this will not help on my Fuzion. Last July 4th holiday we started out from Las Vegas heading to Lake Havasu City AZ. It was 114 in Vegas so I fired up the gen and both A/Cs to keep the camper cool. It was 76 degrees inside as I had been on shore plug running A/C at home. When we got to Havasu it was 123 and when I went inside to set-up the rig it was 123. The Fuzion had allowed enough air thru itself on the road that it had lost all cooling that had been there. Bottom line for me is running heat or A/C on the road is a waste of effort as the Fuzion doesn't insulate itself well enough. WOW!! I've got a Fuzion Touring Edition and have pulled it from Louisiana to California including Vegas. We ran the generator about an 1-11/2 hrs before we stopped for the night and the rig was nicely cool. Not sure if your rig is just not sealed good or that it was just so extra hot outside that maybe it could not cool down. Have had no issue with my Fuzion.Re: Thinking about a Toy Hauler, but not for toysKarin, That is why we went with the TH. We haul bikes, beach things & outside games but it also serves as my 17 year olds daughter room for her & her friends. They have there own big beds, TV, radio....by themselves. Funny thing we have a golf cart but never bring it with us, always ride our bikes or walk. I pull my Fuzion with my Chevy 2500 and never have had a problem. Good luck!! Oh and by the way, ignore the load mouths that say something smart just because a question was asked before. Again, good luck!Re: how much does all that stuff really way?I'm around 15-1800, easy. But I also tow a TH.
