There was an access panel at the front that I opened and shimmed some 2x4, 2x2, or whatever to take the flex out of the flimsy shower pan. That was a decade ago and I don't remember the actual items I used but the flimsy pan never cracked or leaked. That access also allowed me to tighten the shower drain PVC couplings that were not tight.Re: Surge protectorSo far all the responses are from folks who recommend using such. In 30 years of RVing around the country I never needed one. Ran into a few pedestals that were worn or had no ground but never a major issue that put my trailer or contents at risk. A surge protector will not survive a direct lightning strike as it just isn't stout enough to handle all the Joules in a lightning bolt. Check with an independent electrician for perhaps a different opinion from those who sell power protection. Do you have such for your whole house? I would recenter the bulb seal and put a spot a Liquid Nails at each end to secure it in the track. Then dust the outer surface of the bulb seal with talc so that the friction between the seal and slide out is less than the friction holding the seal in place.Re: Stop Light/turn signal blowing bulbWrong bulb number? Same bulb as the right side?Re: Tire RotationLook at the wear patterns of the tire treads. You'll get more wear from a set of tires by rotating if one or more aren't aligned well. Move the best tire to the location that has the most wear, etc.Re: Trailer Brakes HOT after adjustmentFor a while I had some self-adjusting and some manual adjust brakes. The self-adjusting drums would measure 120 degrees while the manuals were around 90 degrees after a 2 hour run. I since have gone to all manual adjust brakes to keep the temperatures down. You really don't want to adjust them to rub a bit like the self-adjusting always do. To test bearings & braking I would jack up one wheel at a time and check for just a very slight wobble in the bearing and then pull the emergency brake cable to engage the brakes. Then spin the wheel forward to determine how far it rotates with the magnet energized before the brakes apply. Never got over 1/2 turn before the brake shoes stopped rotation by hand. No need to have things so tight you get unneeded friction and heat.
