Warranty coverage
My husband and I are looking at 5th wheels and plan to go full time soon. We are so confused on the coverage options out there. We have only been looking at campers that have a manufacturers warranty for full time use. We saw that good Sam had an extended warranty, what is the point? I am a dietitian and my husband is a nurse. We are traveling, doing contract that are usually 3 months at a time. Right now we stay in air b&b’s usually but it’s so hard packing up and moving that often and it gets very expensive. Our poor pets get so stressed when we keep uprooting them. So, this is why we are going to get the 5th wheel. We have borrowed the in-laws trailer before and got a little idea of what it’s like. Because we have been on the road for about 6 months now we have already down sized considerably and just rent a uhaul when we move. My husband drives an F250 so we know what we can pull. My husband and I will be purchasing our first 5th wheel soon and going full time. I hear the washer in dryers are pretty small and some people say that’s just an extra thing to keep up with and that could go wrong. It’s just the two of us and our pets so I may do about two loads of laundry a week in a full size washer/dryer. Any one ever had issues with there’s? Thanks for all the feedback, very helpful! I have heard that about national parks. We won’t be at those much because we are traveling professionals. So, we are usually going to be looking at 3 months, at a campground, at a time. Any advice on staying for that long? I’ve tried to do some research on what campgrounds usually include in their monthly rate and how much it would coat but I’ve had trouble finding a lot of info. It’s hard to make a budget for a 5th wheel when I’m not sure what insurance and camp ground fees will be. I know insurance opens up a whole new topic.616Views0likes0Comments
