They are GREAT for hanging around the top of the shower for holding towels just within reach when you are ready to get out, or for extra clothes to be worn again the next day. When not in use, just tuck em away in a drawer or cabinet. I am gonna go buy a few for the house too. We had a similar plastic double hook. Dropped it once and it became a single hook (broke). Replaced it with a metal one for a few dollars more, also at Walmart. Also, put pieces of the pile (soft) side of heavy duty Velcro on the inside portions of the portion that goes over the door to prevent scratching.Re: Handy Hints, Gadgets, Products & Gizmos welsteach wrote: travelingfools, Anybody have a way of getting rid of the sticky tape residue on metal framing> How is it on the paint? Includes the basic platform and two "boosters", giving heights of about 3, 4 1/2 and 6 inches. Used these on our last trip as an additional step with pretty good success. We found that they shifted some on the graveled site, and I'm working on designing a way to reduce this.
