That said a carbon pile can exert a load against an alternator to test it's capability. Now days they use a battery, starter, alternator diagnostic tester. They are powered by a 9 volt battery and merely send impulses into the battery and analyze the condition of plates. In seconds you get messages such as Good battery. Bad battery , Good battery needs charge needs charge . The sheer beauty of these testers is they take absolutely nothing out of the battery and no days of charging required such as after a load test from years ago. People selling and warrantying batteries are required to have these type of testers for obvious reasons . Can you tell I used to sell both carbon pile testers in the old days and the modern ones in latter years and own one of each. The modern ones are also small enough anyone could carry one with them . My units incidentally are Snap OnRe: Mattresswondering where Brantford is. Would it be in Ontario Canada. If it is google Bestway bedding. They are in St. Catharines On. They will make anything you could ever want. They do a lot for Niagara trailers RV. Our fifth wheel has storage under the bed and they recommended foam so that it can bend when lifted. A spring mattress won't bend a results in too heavy for the gas shocks and most people to lift. I know I'm offering more than asked but I thought it was good information when we were buying. It was an expensive one that we purchased but spent 3 months on it in Florida and loved every minute on it. The one they recommended was foam with a 2 inch latex on top both enclosed with the fabric. Latex has the ability to not make you hot while laying on it . It was perfect.Re: Replacing HP Metal Vavle Stems15 & 16 inch they can handle on car & light truck tire machine. 17.5 are basically a small transport tire and rim. The screw in valves are the same as a transport . I found the shorter stems at a steam show in Portland Indiana. It is a bit hard to find just the seals as they prefer to sell new stem with the new seal on it. The long five inch ones are quite easy to come by but the short ones not as popular. I'm thinking the ones that came on my DRV were 2 inch and the ones I picked up in Portland were 1 1/2 which I prefer to add tire pressure monitoring sensors The seals don't need changing until they leak and if they start it will be a very slow leak.Re: PullRite Hitch For 2020 ChevyB&W has full 1 inch thick jaws machined perfectly to fit your 2 inch pin. Curt is a pretty hitch at a glance and the jaws appear to be 9/16 of an inch thick. however if you get up or over and look at the inside of the jaws the contact area to the pin is 3/16 of an inch. This will eventually wear a groove in your pin creating slop and pin damage.Re: I think they’re doing it wrongAre you sure these aren't for comedy and reactions. Anyone who can come up with an idea and has all the pieces isn't stupid . All those pieces would cost as much as a proper ball in the box as long as the frame wasn't too rotten to install.Re: Length and HeightDRV Mobile Suite has flat roofRe: water leak near city water hook upThe leaking problem and O-rings are in the valve body next to the tee. These are not typical O-rings. When I dismantled mine to look at possibility of rebuild kit nothing stood out as a problem. I replaced my entire assembly. According to the Kant leak site they state you should never switch that diverter valve with pressure in the system-- of course they don't want to accept responsibility. I now have a water shut off right at the water inlet and open the two low water drains for a second to relieve pressure in the system before changing the diverter valve. I mentioned I purchased one assembly to solve my problem and carry one new spare as Lazy Days in Florida was out of stock. These are commonly used on motor homes as well. Two yrs. ago the cost was $163.00. In my case I needed right away as I was leaving for home in Canada. CAUTION be careful not to drop seal off those PEX fittings. On one incredibly difficult lines to reconnect without dropping the seal I cut the line and rejoined with a Shark Bite joiner. I don't believe there is a cheap fix or healing procedure for your problem.Re: Never thought we'd ever consider a 5er... but!!!!We like access to the fridge , bathroom and bedroom with slides in. Second I don't like front living room and not for appearances that is great. Most time is spent in living room and bed. Front living room puts your head even while sitting 3 feet closer to the ceiling and the noise of the AC while trying to talk or listen to TV than a rear living room.Re: Diesel Pusher Tires.Lou's Tire in Kissimee Florida. I delt with him for years in Wainfleet ON Canada. Lou & Kim know tires and how to install without come backs.Re: locked brakesI just finished rewriting my air brake endorsement last month and aced it. 55psi is the minimum for the buzzer to cut in and must cut out no later or higher than 60psi. Normal operating pressure is between 80 psi and 135 psi. fooling around at 65 is only fooling and confusing yourself. Air it up to where the governor cuts out and then try releasing and if that doesn't work then forward and back. I'm confident it didn't cease up too severely in a month. Good luck
