Thanks for your timeRe: Small 5th wheelWe needed a shorter 5th that would let us enjoy the many older state parks with short sites or challenging entries We also wanted RL and quality build on a lighter frame Our 2014 26SAB is working out great 28' , 7200 lbs, very good floor plan (for us) You might want to review the specs and add this camper to your research list Best of luck!!! http://www.nadaguides.com/RVs/2014/Keystone-RV/M-26-SAB/6035788/SpecsRe: B & W hitch coverA small gas grill cover from Wally and a couple bungeesRe: Roof qwik fix?I'm At the disadvantage of not being able to see exactly what your situation is But for a temp fix I would suggest cleaning up the peeling area to the point where tape can stick Then apply Gorilla tape , available at Wally and most any hardware store BTW You folks are in a beautiful part of the country We enjoyed our time in OregonTV tire queryIt's time for tires for my GMC 2500 4wd gas We pull a 7,000 lb 5th Local shop promotes the Cooper brand , made in USA , good prices We Have run them on our Jeep with good success Any input on Cooper or your fav TV tire brand would be appreciated ThanksRe: "Half ton" 5th wheel for couples. We can pull the bunk and fold down sofa for a couple of comfy chairs and lounge straight across from the TV. Haven't found one to look at in person but some of the photos and a video I found says it just about perfect for two people. And they managed to get in an outdoor kitchen and 60 gallons of grey tank, all in 29 feet. It also would work really well with my truck at gvwr 10k, cargo at 2865, pin at 1285. It's perfect for my 2500. Here's a link for any interested.Floor plan and specs. Unless you are needing the bunks, you might want to look at a Cougar 26SAB We have one and it's working out great for the 2 of us Best of luck in your searchRe: Sabre 2011 5th wheel satellite hook up Retired JSO wrote: Use an old scrap of cable to make a short on the outside satellite hookup and then do a continuity check on what inside outlets to remove any doubts. X2 I've had to do this process with the last 2 campers we bought Works greatRe: Looking for Roadside Assistance Plan azdryheat wrote: Asked my insurance agent about getting an RSA plan and he said I'm already covered in my policy and don't need RSA. He said just pay for the tow or whatever is needed and my insurance will reimburse me. Sounds good to me. I don't have to pay extra for a separate RSA plan and I can call anyone I want for help. FWIW My agent told me the same thing but when I started asking for more detail on the roadside coverage I could tell he was very unsure of his answers Anyhow, I contacted my ins company and they said no roadside assit without buying the rider policy. The cost was $20 per vehicleRe: Fan-tastic Ultrabreeze Vent CoverJust relating here my own observations on vent covers FWIW Our camper has one new Fantastic Ultrabreeze vent cover and 3 Maxaire vent covers I bought the Ultra breeze based on the increased air flow specs I read about However In a hard rain situation Our Ultra Breeze vent cover allows water to blow in and drip into the camper Our Maxaire vent covers have never allowed water inside the camper Not in this camper or any of the previous campers we have owned I will stay with the Maxaire design from now on
