We have been very happy with the unit, especially the 15 mpg. For the past 25 years we have owned 30' travel trailers, this is our first motorhome and have no regrets. Best wishes for your new 2018 Dynamax rev24rb. I just bought a used 2015 Dynamax Rev 24tb with only 6000 miles. What do you carry since there is NO spare tire. There is some kind of compressor with green goo Dynamax provide, or not? ALRe: Dynamax Rev 24tb bobojay5 wrote: $67k stated starting price before negotiating is a pretty good deal if you ask me. It's right there with the Trend/Viva, probably lower in the end. Hi Bobojay Been absent muchly from this site as I sold my Pleasureway Plateau ts and bought a 4 slide Montana, which I just sold. I have just bought a 2015 Dynamax Rev 24tb which is really what we needed for versatile travelling options. It is really high quality. If one doesn't want a slide version with heavier weights and possibly handling problems(maybe) but with all the necessities including a full bathroom, which is the nemesis for B or B plus rigs, then I think it works unless one has to have a toad back there. Not me. The quality of everything is really amazing for me, one who has owned 3 motorhomes already. I think the Promaster chassis and the Rev 24tb set up will work fine and is well balanced. The power is there and the steering is good as well as road manners, and, MPG. cheers ALRe: 2006 Pleasure-way Plateau TS Escargot wrote: I'm gonna miss my 2006 PW Sprinter twin! Happy trails to you! Thanks very much. Your posts have been very interesting and helpful. Best wishes. We have the 36ft Montana Wilderness 5th wheel for now but my wife really will want to get back to a B--I know her well enough... Cheers ALRe: Old Sprinter gone; long live the new Sprinter Shearwater wrote: After 10 years and 110,000 miles we finally sold our beloved 2006 Sportsmobile Sprinter. It was sad to see it go but it is in good hands - we sold it to some long time friends. We have replaced it with another Sprinter from Advanced RV. The new one is so classy that we might have to start dressing for dinner - I'm not sure if I can get by with a coat and tie or whether I need a Tux. Now I have to figure out how to change my signature on this forum. Congratulations. is yours like Davydd's or much different?Re: Looking at the Pleasure-Way Ascent StephCamp wrote: It's been a while since I looked at this post. Thank you very much dmichaelwells for sharing yours thoughts on the Ascent. And since we visited the Pleasure-Way manufacturer last summer in Saskatoon, we're also considering the Plateau FL. Spring time is almost there, and it's bringing RV fever back! ;-) Any comment comparing these 2 models will help us. We were based and lived in Ottawa for many years. the Plateau versions are very good. We had a Pleasure-way Plateau TS 2006 which we just sold. Excellent. We were amazed at how much stuff we unpacked from it before it was sold. Sold, well appointed, high quality, economical, drives like a car and you can park them easily in small shopping plazas. The Ascent is very nice for sure. The Plateaus are a little bigger but the extra room is handy too. Cheers ALRe: 2006 Sprinter transmissionsMy old txn test was to starts vehicle, put the handbrake on, hold foot on brake, put txn in gear and rev it hard, If the engine stalls the txn is not slipping If it slips you will notice the revs going up as the txn slips. Don't know if that is helpful.Re: 2006 Pleasure-way Plateau TS mkguitar wrote: Thanks for your posts. So how much to move the 5th wheel on the ferry? Mike Hi Mike Don't know as Greg RV delivered it at no cost and set it up on our site in Vancouver. I pay 73$ each way with my car(senior rate). I estimate250 to 300$ is probably about right for one way. Cheers AL PS I am still with RV.Net on 5th wheel section but I check on B side too as I loved my B but life has changed things for us.Re: 2011 montana mountaineer furnace problemThanks BB-TX and others. I will go to the Montana Owners Club Forum2006 Pleasure-way Plateau TSJust sold this unit. Loved it. No problems at all. The Gearspace 34 fits well on this unit and was sold with it. Many thanks to all B owners for input and help over the years. I now have a Montana Mountaineer Hickory 4 slide 5th wheel. When we unloaded the Sprinter it was amazing how much stuff we had packed into it and it took two carloads of containers to move everthing into the 5th wheel. Regards to all2011 montana mountaineer furnace problemJust got this unit. Furnace is fine but it is under the cabinet in the kitchen and heat pours out into the corner front cabinet and even into the pull out spice rack. Would blocking the floor vent there help to redistribute the heat. Other vents don't seem to bet much heat. tks
