I mean obviously as u say if theres no power at the TS then its a gen problem but was just wonderingRe: Power out on generator revrick3 wrote: This is getting pretty confusing now, so many differing ideas. This might be beyond my expertise. Don't want to get electrocuted. Have volt meter and can test volts at switch will attempt this tomorrow. When looking at switch with cover open I don't see any contacts to stick. I am familiar with points sets as I used to put points in auto years ago. Don't see any in switch. Just many wires hooked into lugs. Are points behind this switch? different TS use different style relays there not all the same in design and style they just all perform the same function most likely best to replace yours and be doneRe: 2005 Holiday Connecting Rod FailureISL 400 engine within a specific S/N range for Wrist Pin failure. The S/N range is 46543077 - 46603939 for the 2005- 2006 year. cummins will assess each application for warranty on a case by caseRe: original price to what sells for used 10 years later? Obviously the "suggested list price" is considerably higher than the actual new sale price, but the 10 yr old current value is probably around half the original new sale price. yes but the OP was asking about Class A dieselsRe: original price to what sells for used 10 years later? rb71 wrote: Let's say I bought a 2006 whatever class A diesel for 100000 in 2006. What would be the value of it now? I'm thinking 50000 miles on it (5k a year) stored under cover used but not abused. I'm wondering if since inflation has gone up so much that you wouldnt/didn't lose so much money? Just curious on everyones thoughts I'm thinking you would lose 25000 to 35000. So it would be 2500 to 3500 a year. what model 2006 diesel pusher sold for 100K in 2006? they were 200K and some(lots) were 250-350K and some 500K so really depends on the model and how far up the food chain the unit was example a signature sold new for say 450K in 2006 they sell for 200 K today so 25K per year depreciation just a example MH vary in great degrees depends on motor size length mileage floor plans etc my 2008 bus sold new for about 325K I paid 185 it worth 150 area today that's 22K depreciation from newRe: Midlevel newer vs higher level older timjet wrote: Probably a question many people have to answer. Just getting opinions. Perhaps an example will help: '11 Tiffin Phaeton 40 vs '07American Eagle 40/Fleetwood Revolution 40 Tiffin uses the Freightline chassis while Liberty is used in the other 2. Weight carrying capacities are greater with the Fleetwoods. Should this even be a real concern? Interior appointments seem about the same. Newer is always better- less chance of having to fix things. But higher quality is better for durability. Assuming an example in each coach meets your floor plan desires, and each coach checks out mechanically, what would you choose. Your gonna pay more for the newer coach of course, but looking for opinions. depending on mileage+ tires and liking all the floor plans 1)eagle 2)tiffn 3)fleetwoodRe: 2005 Holiday Connecting Rod FailureOP has posted other places and says its a 400ISLRe: 2005 Holiday Connecting Rod Failure Tyler0215 wrote: What does he mean"no one will touch this engine"? I would be calling another shop. Call Cummins yourself and explain he situation. Ask them who they recommend. Don't let this shop start cutting your MH apart. I hope you have your service records. why do u need service records? its 12 years old there is zero warrentyRe: Roof top satellite dish and warranty rgatijnet1 wrote: My Son just bought a new Forest River RV and we planned on giving him an extra Winegard SK-3005 Satellite system that I have in my garage. He asked the salesman about installing it on their new RV and was told that it would void the entire roof warranty. I wasn't sure that was right so I sent an email to Forest River to ask about it and I just got the reply. They confirmed that installing a satellite dish on the roof of their RV's would void the roof warranty. I wonder if that is the norm for some manufacturers or just Forrest River. I know on my Monaco they even had a location prepared at the factory for the satellite dish cables to enter the RV and it did not void the warranty. Just mentioning for others to be sure to check if they are buying a new RV and plan on having a satellite dish installed on the roof. so are you saying forest river do not sell any MH with a factory installed or dealer authorized sat system at all?Re: Still not sure about putting Nitrogen in your tires? Nice factoid. I think it is just easier to roll in for the week with a few nitrogen bottles vs the logistics of a compressor. I assume NASCAR uses nitrogen in pit row also. Otherwise the pit crew could never change tires that fast using plain air in the jacks and gun. wrong ::nitrogen has no bearing on the speed of the air guns ability to be fast or slow and the jacks used are all hydraulic However compressed Nitrogen gas is safe unlike compressed oxygen when it comes to sparks and or open flame etc
