464 is a better route than 89 a bit longer but a 70 mph good 2 lane road. I have taken both in June and would recommend 464 even without the construction. Have fun

Sounds like you are in Tahoe would not use 207 Kingsbury grade as it is narrow on the lake side and steep on the valley side. I would stay on Hwy 50 which will take you to Carson City and 395/50 east. This is a good 4 lanes all the way. Have fun.

We stayed at Austin Lone Star right off I35 exit 228 north bound or 227 south bound good location to all city locations. We were here for a graduation at St. Edwards which was held at U of Texas. They also had a nice dog run . Have fun

Places we have stayed this route all are full hook up parks. Hacienda Las Cruces,the KOA in Van Horn,the old KOA just south of town Fort Stockton,KOA, Junction,Fredericksburg RV Park. Have fun

Places we have stop on this route-I-10-Alamo Fiesta Boerne,If time available a side to Fredericksburg is worth a day. The old KOA in Junction,old KOA in Fort Stockton Hacienda in Las Cruces Voyger in Tucson.Have fun
