It was mostly based on our years of experience, knowing our needs (things we didn't get in previous TT), looking at floorplans, knowing weight/length limits of our TV, and then exploring various models at a dealership. When we go to an RV show it is strictly for entertainment purposes and gathering some potential ideas for future mods. We won't be in the market for another TT for many years, if ever.Re: TT without wardrobe cabinets next to master bedThis is a tough one, as I can't remember any TT without bedroom wardrobes, although our KZ Jag entry level model only had a wardrobe on one side of the bed. I think the wardrobes are essential and convenient for storage, but I can see the issue if one was claustrophobic. My biggest concern was banging my head on the overhead cabinets when sitting up in bed. But I use the cabinets to help pull myself up from the bed, so in the process I am aware of where they are in relationship to my noggin.Re: Good morning! Newbie here saying "Hi"Sounds like you have a great TV/TT combo. I'm glad it has finally turned February because I'm starting to get cabin fever. Hopefully we can get back out to camp by the end of March if the weather cooperates. We're just getting over a whopper of a storm where we got nearly 2' of snow. I pray that there won't be any more major storms.Re: is storing the TT (not travelling) slightly tongue-high ok?For many years I've stored mine next to the house slightly high at the hitch end, mostly for draining the roof as others mentioned. I don't normally run the fridge until the night before I'm ready to leave on a trip.Re: Why are these pieces of wood in the wall of my camper?Would you risk damaging the aluminum siding trying to remove them?Re: New to the ForumWelcome! Even as a somewhat grizzled RV veteran, I have learned a tremendous amount on this forum that has made my trips even more enjoyable.Re: Long-term review - Outdoors RV Timber RidgeGreat review and good news on your TT. Do you have any interior photos? I'd like to see how your bathroom and bunks look to compare to my TT, which I am also very happy with. BTW - I have a vent in the bathroom and a vent in the middle of the TT. I have never opened the middle vent. In a previous TT I had a vent above the queen bed, and was too afraid to open it and forget to close it, leave the site and come back to find a storm had come through.Re: Keystone Bullet Premier temccarthy1 wrote: All the posts I have seen from Bullet owners on this forum have been positive which is reassuring. Agreed! :)Re: Help me with Brand selectionMany of the major manufacturers also have trailer forums of their own.Re: Need light trailer recommendations under 6200 lbs GVWR.I didn't see where you specified the length of your current TT. The two models you like are 24'. How much of an increase is that? Is it just you and your husband, or are there kids/pets? If you are going to stay in the unit for weeks on end, I would think about upgrading to a stronger truck and then go with a 26' or 28' TT. We went from a 24' with no slide to a 28' with slide and it made all the difference in the world in terms of livability. Just my 2 cents...
