Of course that would probably keep him from getting up on the counters... It's a good thing he's cute!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Last night Rocky got up on the kitchen counter (again) and chewed up a spatula. Now how am I going to flip my burgers?Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}If I'm not mistaken, the black car is Harley Earl's Buick 'Y' job. It was built as a concept car before the war (I think) and then 'adopted' by Earl as his daily driver for 11 or 12 years. It was one of the earliest concept cars, built by one of the earliest chief designers (of GM), Harley Earl. The white car appears to be a concept from the mid-fifties, though I'm not familiar with it off-hand. On second look, it has three portholes on the hood, so it's another Buick. Great series of photos, Richard.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Gary, you might want to consider an additional step or two for old Dash. They're handy when the ground outside the door slopes down, too. Also, if the screws to the mirror were loose you may want to spend an hour or two going around, in, and through the coach with some tools and check all the fasteners. These types of things tend not to happen is a vacuum. In other words there are probably more loose screws to be found. Good luck!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Happy B-Day, Richard! And Happy Easter and Chag Sameach Pesach.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Richard, the Montanas are great units. Really well made and able to handle the cold weather real well. The 3580 is a great layout, and the kitchen is super. Enjoy it in good health!Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Great news on the PSA, Richard! I believe I called it - an infection. Glad it's all gone now.Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} Dashonthedash wrote: I checked all the cabinets and couldn't find a toilet paper holder. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}Gary: Check inside the cabinet doors in the bathroom opposite the toilet. I've seen TP holders placed in there before since there's no room in the throne room itself. Good luck! Joel Dashonthedash wrote: I took the new coach out for a short drive and some gas. It was the first time I've had to back up the unit, and it went OK, although the big iron bars that protect the chassis from bottoming out did pick up a little dirt. There were a few things shifting during the trip, so I checked to make sure the fridge was empty and found the plastic spool for the toilet paper inside the fridge. I thought it would be better off in the bathroom, so I took it back there. There was no place to put it. They hadn't put it a toilet paper holder, and both the dealer and I had missed it.
