Just about anywhere in northern New Mexico and many places in the Gila Wilderness have good stream (trout) and small lake (trout and bass) fishing... but November will be pretty chilly in those parts with subfreezing temps at night. The folks across the street from us (military FamCamp with long-termers) sold their Solitude and moved into an Alliance Paradigm a year or two ago. We're in northern Maryland on the upper Chesapeake and they never had any issues with plumbing freezing in the Solitude... they did in the Paradigm last winter. I'm in Alabama today and in about 5 days I will be in Louisiana. There is a very active HDT (heavy duty truck) group in the Escapees RV Club - all with singled semis pulling large/heavy fifth wheels. (The Volvos are the most popular HDTs and Freightliner Sport Chassis the most popular MDTs). Lots of them carry Smart Cars on the tractor behind the cab and, yes, side-mount ramps is how they do it. The OEM microwaves or convection microwaves that RV manufacturers use are, for the most part, garbage. We just replaced our 30" over-the-range Furrion convection microwave with an LG. I had to switch out the lower rear bracket and drill two new holes for the top screws in the upper cabinet. It was a perfect fit from a size perspective and the quality and functions are miles ahead of the OEM Furrion. Don't get stuck trying to find what originally came in the RV - especially from that long ago. Rob360Views0likes0Comments
