Yes, am a female, do ALL the driving... either tv/fifth-wheel or motorhome and toad. Same thing "stopping" applies to supplemental braking systems on toads. Drivers choice and maybe my life or serious injuries? My rant over. Just to play devil's advocate - Do you have disc brakes on your 5th wheel? Probably not; most don't. There's 10-20 feet right there. Is a trailer safe with drum brakes? Most would say yes, even though all things being equal it won't stop as fast as one with disc brakes. "safe" is a very subjective term.Re: Full time rated? Durb wrote: My current 5er is full time rated but my previous trailer which had superior construction and insulation stated the trailer wasn't designed for long duration stays. The reason Bigfoot said no to full time was due to moisture mitigation, they are too tight. Bodies give off a lot of water and you don't want your trailer to rot from the inside out. Maybe a more porous or breathable trailer would be the way to go. Anyway, something to think about. Very good point. Moisture is a big concern. Possibly mitigated by awareness and judicious use of a dehumidifierRe: Camping World will not price match. Do your research! Bucky Badger wrote: Lwiddis wrote: "They (CW) have some nice stuff! That's funny stuff right there^^^ It would be, except the generator was an online sale. The sewer solution was in store. CW was double the price for the same item on Amazon. But hey, you stay real and pay double what you should if that floats your boat.Re: Camping World will not price match. Do your research! One of their stores is just up the road from me. They have some nice stuff! The staff was really friendly too.Camping World will not price match. Do your research!I talked to a customer service rep tonight about the 7500 watt dual fuel generator which sells at Camping world for $949.00 on sale. I can get the same generator at Cabelas for 899. She refused to price match, so Cabelas will get a 900 dollar sale which would have otherwise gone to Camping World. In the store last weekend, I was thinking about picking up a Sewer Solution, as I had one a few years back with a prior 5th wheel. $159 at Camping World. $79 at Amazon. I do love to spend my money on my rv'ing habit, but I try to spend wisely rather than foolishly. I think I'll probably just buy all of my stuff at Cabelas rather than Camping World if this is how Camping World does business.
