We went from a tent to pop-up to hybrid to TT to 5th wheel (still use) and now we are buying another new Shamrock. I love the airflow of the tent ends, moisture problems be d*amned. We were going to get a small couples coach until I walked into a Roo, that was the end of the canned ham for me. We have our 5th wheel on a lot in a private campground and we are tired of trying to find hotels that accepts our furkids when we go anywhere that requires staying a night or three.715Views0likes0CommentsLooking to downsize.
So, after years in a TT and now a 5th wheel, we are looking to downsize to a hybrid so we can travel around the state a bit. We are keeping the 5th wheel since we have it permanently on a lot. My problem is finding a nice used one in our area. How did you find yours? I'm looking around, getting tired of being at one place all the time. I loved my Shamrock, but haven't been able to find any used. I found a 13 Keystone Passport 23 feet, but have never heard of them. Anyone have one? Any advice as to what to look for? I finally had my new to us 2011 Cedar Creek Silver Back 29rl delivered to our lot in Northern MI. last Sat. Loving the view out of the windows. It is much more suited to us than the bunkhouse we bought for the grandkids. I think we will get many years of enjoyment from this Fifth Wheel. It is amazing what you find when you actually take possession of the 5er. I have to say, they were not as good of housekeepers as I am. I spent all of Sat. and most of Sunday detailing the inside.
