Bought the porcelain toilet and will never have a plastic one again. The weight is nothing.Re: Waiting at the Rainbow Bridge mountainkowboy wrote: Lost Hanna this year......she will be missed. Her last camping trip.... So sorry for your loss. I have a german shepherd that is going to be 8. He was diagnosed with stomach cancer and it isn't treatable. I was told he has 8 months or less, he is still going strong. I found out in July.Re: Moving to the Dark SideWe went from a tent to pop-up to hybrid to TT to 5th wheel (still use) and now we are buying another new Shamrock. I love the airflow of the tent ends, moisture problems be d*amned. We were going to get a small couples coach until I walked into a Roo, that was the end of the canned ham for me. We have our 5th wheel on a lot in a private campground and we are tired of trying to find hotels that accepts our furkids when we go anywhere that requires staying a night or three.Looking to downsize. So, after years in a TT and now a 5th wheel, we are looking to downsize to a hybrid so we can travel around the state a bit. We are keeping the 5th wheel since we have it permanently on a lot. My problem is finding a nice used one in our area. How did you find yours? We are in the thumb part of Michigan and can't find anything.Re: Thinking of getting another hybrid for short weekend trips. bovellois wrote: Hey Jude, I would look across the border in Canada, with the US dollar giving you 1.35 Canadian, there could be some excellent deals. Importing one of those is surprisingly simple. Aside from the favorable exchange rate, the used HTT market is depressing from a seller's point of view. I sold the ROO 19 in my profile, 5 years old but in as new condition because we cared for it and used it an actual 6 weeks only, for half the price of a new one. Looked in Sarnia and Windsor and nothing, takes me right back to my side of the border. Craigslist is real popular in those areas.Thinking of getting another hybrid for short weekend trips.I'm looking around, getting tired of being at one place all the time. I loved my Shamrock, but haven't been able to find any used. I found a 13 Keystone Passport 23 feet, but have never heard of them. Anyone have one? Any advice as to what to look for? I bought new last time, I wish I would have kept it.Re: Question about crack in shower surround and buying used. Parrothead Mike wrote: The company that makes those surrounds for the shower is located in Michigan if you ever decide to get that unit and want to replace that surround. Do you know the name of the company? I cannot figure out what size to buy, there is an apron you have to account for and I'm confused on the measurements.Re: Your Rig Wood chip wrote: Wood chip wrote: Wood chip wrote: Pic not working. Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!how to I unsubscribe to this?Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I finally had my new to us 2011 Cedar Creek Silver Back 29rl delivered to our lot in Northern MI. last Sat. Loving the view out of the windows. It is much more suited to us than the bunkhouse we bought for the grandkids. I think we will get many years of enjoyment from this Fifth Wheel. It is amazing what you find when you actually take possession of the 5er. I have to say, they were not as good of housekeepers as I am. I spent all of Sat. and most of Sunday detailing the inside. Next Saturday if our water is turned on I will be doing the outside.
