You might be interested to know that my Winnebago manual says not to leave it plugged in all the time in storage. They mention battery sulfation as the issue. They recommend storing unplugged with both battery disconnect switches activated, then plugging in and charging once a month.Re: Using a Front Mounted Hitch to Park Trailor?I've got two 90 degree turns to go around while parking my camper and having been using a front mount receiver to accomplish this now with 2 different campers and 3 different vehicles. Works fantastic. My neighbor comes out to watch. Got the idea after watching how they move campers around at the dealer (hint - they don't use any kind of rear mount hitch, they use a ball mounted on the front lift bucket of a tractor). As someone else said, I don't worry about the hitch rating because I'm going about 2 mph, not 60. One thing is that it is possible to turn the camper very tightly which puts pressure on the camper tires (assuming you have dual axles). In this case what you can do is move the camper back and forth a little to allow the tires to un-torque, if that makes sense.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!4th time is the charm!
