Now I noticed that after a couple hours it is barely blowing out air. I shut it off for awhile and then it will be fine for another couple hours. Is this normal?Re: Black tank problemI think I may replace mine "just in case" while its empty. Trailer is 10 years old and I sure don't want to deal with that.Re: Dumping fresh waterI pulled into a site where someone just left and drained their fresh water. Kind of inconsiderate. It got a little muddy and took most the day for the puddle to evaporate. When I'm packing to head home, I'll run all my faucets and fill my grey and black tank up as much as possible prior to dumping. After dumping I'll open the fresh water drain and empty while driving. I usually have a 7 gallon container of drinking water in my trailer.Re: Satellite Dish question. rollexx wrote: cjoseph wrote: Dish pay as you go can be turned off by the day. You pay for one month and get 30 days. So, you could make that one-month fee last all year. It is much easier to do on-line than calling customer service. To take advantage of this, you have to own your own dish and receiver, and they have to be Dish compatible. If already a Dish customer at home, it is only $7 per month to activate an extra receiver that you own. It's true that it's $7 per month for extra receiver if you are already a customer but unless they have changed it, and their web site hasn't changed, if you pay month to month it's for one month. If you want to turn off you just don't pay next invoice. No way to turn on and off during the month to "save" days. Also if you do use your friends receiver you will have to take it back from time to time to have it download updates. It's my friends direct tv receiver. We're going on a few fishing trips and he doesn't have a portable dish. I can get one buts it's dishnet. I just wanted to know if it would work.Satellite Dish question.I looked into the pay as you go method. It's fine if you full time but you pay for a full month even if you only use it for a weekend. My friend said I could use his extra reciever. It's Direct TV. If I have a Dishnet dish, will it work or does it have to be Direct TV?Re: Black spots on rubber roof ???I noticed my fifth wheel roof also is covered with black spots, about the size of a dime. I used a soft brush and simple green solution about 3-4 times a year and once a year use a roof protectant that mops on. I tried cleaning it today. It cleaned the roof but not the spots. I called Richardsons RV near where I live. They said it is a mold caused by mildew and it won't come off. He said scrubbing may fade it but wont't remove it. He also said it will not harm the roof and it is ok to use rubber conditioner or any other product I have been using. Hope he's right.:@Re: Refrigerator ProblemUPDATE: Haven't found out why it won't work yet. On electric, plugged into my house, the fridge wants to switch to propane but the light will work. It all works fine on propane. The smell is gone! Wiped it down with bleach. Did the tray with coffee suggestion. It kinda worked but not completely. I stuffed the freezer and fridge with crumpled newspaper and shut it a few days. That seemed to do the trick. Thanks for the advice.Refrigerator ProblemI have a Norcold fridge in a '05 Thor Jazz. Couple days ago I opened my trailer and, OMG, it smelled like a dead body. I had it plugged into my house and had some fish in the freezer. I had filled my propane but didn't turn it on. (Lesson learned) Anyways, it will work on propane. On the front there is a Auto/propane switch. Green for when it's on electric and orange for propane. If I swith to the auto mode with the propane off, it will stay green for about a minute then start flashing signaling its not working. The lights inside the fridge works though so its getting power. On propane, it works fine. Any ideas?? Could also use advice on how to get rid of the smell. I cleaned it with all kinds of house cleaner, wiped it down with bleach, set bowls of white vinegar, boxes of baking powder, did a naked voodoo dance...etc. It's better but still a little noticable. Thanks, JimRe: Honda Generator Cable Question SoundGuy wrote: jkbrea wrote: Sorry....links didn't work. I'll try and post pics later. No need ... here is your first link and your second link. However, my question would be - for replacement parts why would you not just go to your local Honda powersport dealer and order what you need? :h Thanks! I did try Honda. The parts person didn't have a clue about generators....only motorcycles. I tried another bike shop that sells Hondas...same response. I'll order the wire kit and solder the new plug on. Then I'll have spares.:D
