2004 Lincoln Avaitor TV
I have recently purchased a new old Gulf Aero Light 19 ft bumper pull camper. The camper weigh 4005 LBs dry and about 4500 loaded with gear but not fresh water. I have a 2004 Lincoln Aviator with a 4.6 L 281 V8 dohc with 110,000 miles. The tow rating on the TV is 7000 lbs. Can I successfully pull the camper, it seems a bit sluggish? My 2000 Bantam and a barn loft had a disagreement when I was backing the trailer in. I'm now looking for a replacement. Because of health we don't camp as often as we used to but still like getting out there every now and then. Since most of my camper time is looking at out the window at it I would like to limit myself to about 5K. Does anyone have an idea where the best place to start looking for one? Help! I'm trying a mod on my camper and need 4 of those little brackets that the bunk support poles fit into. Have no idea what their called or where to find them. I've been on the internet for ours, unsuccessful. does anyone know where I might find a couple pair? THANKS1.3KViews0likes2Comments
