For many years I have used the step covers that fit on each step and is secured with either springs or cable ties. These last for 7-10 years and then I replace with new ones. They offer excellent traction. JimRe: Factory ToursA little dated but when we first began our RV search we were still working {1989}. We began the searches during our vacations, first to WY, KS, MO, IN, and a couple I forget. This was done over a 3 year period and was very interesting. After this period it came down to two brands, Teton and Hitchhiker. After doing the pro and cons routine it was Hitchhiker Champagne. Our first one was a 1991 40ft which we began fulltime in 1996. Then trader for a 1998 38ft which we still have. The tours was what convinced us to make our choice. Jim/LindaRe: Rear sofa movementNot cheap, but Mor/ryde Is suspension solves all that. JimRe: Interesting new navigation app for AndroidI'll stick with Base Camp for Garmin, hate small screen on phone. JimRe: Closet door mirrorsWhat we did when we ordered our Hitchhiker many years ago was to have factory replace those door with wooden louvered ones. One advantage is air flow in the closet. Our W/D closet had those doors and they just carried the same type to the closet. JimRe: Fabric ceilingsWell I don't have any stains, so I think I will use vac for dust, etc. and see if I can detect any difference. Thanks to all who replied. JimFabric ceilingsAnyone clean their ceilings? Hesitate to put any liquid type cleaner on it. JimRe: Heated FloorsWe have heated floor in our bathroom. It is a cube heater in the basement set on medium. No more cold nighttime trips to p___.Re: Washer/dryersBeen using a Whirlpool stack for many years. There is no vibration when running. Ours is installed in bath area roughly mid trailer. Can't vision not having one. Good luck. JimRe: “New” vs.”Old” OvensHaven't used oven in many years, changed to Breville toaster oven about 7 years ago. Now have gone to Cosori oven with air fryer and many other features, Oven sits on oven cover so no counter space needed. Wife loves this thing. Jim
