I looked at your refrigerator post and can't tell if you bought this trailer new or used from a dealer or a private party. If it's a dealer they should be able to answer this question. I know in my previous arctic fox in order to activate the 120 volt feature I flipped the switch that you show in your photo AND then activated a switch on the control panel inside the trailer. You may have the same setup. However, you may have a heater that's 120 capable that was never hooked up. My son bought a 19 model Sonic a year ago. I got on their site and apparently they no longer make that model. Be careful with these trailers. They're very light which would fit your needs, but the build quality is terrible even by current RV standards. His tv was screwed into the wall with no solid backing and fell off their first trip. This winter while putting a cover on it we heard the roof structure crack from my son's weight (this was after the dealer said it would easily handle his weight). Late November can mean snow and ice. However, SLC to Moab is highly traveled and well maintained. Soldier Summit has some altitude and can get jammed up. From Moab to Monticello you gain altitude and thus the possibility of stuff on the road. Monticello to Cortez takes you from 7000 ft. to 6000 ft. so depending on how recently there has been snowfall there could be some challenges. Once again, this is a highly traveled route for trucks, so it is well maintained. I'm sure you know this, but both Utah and Colorado have excellent phone apps and internet sites that are up to date on road conditions. Hey, right off the bat my new Northwood Nash 23D had the Schwintech slide jamb up on me. Got the factory to replace it and it seems to be doing fine now. However, in my research on the net I've found lots of horror stories about the system. +1 on the "Voltminder". I've been using the "old" version for two years to monitor the state of my two golf cart batteries charged by my portable solar setup. The "Voltminder" plugs in to a 12 volt socket. Inexpensive and simple. Meets my needs.515Views0likes0Comments
