I always hear that the longer the trailer, easier it is to tow/back up. I understand swaay issues but, if they realize they are towing and not racing, I see no problem. If you are scared, stay home. Nice rig!Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Nice...I like it!Re: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Or...you could go to the pvc pipe area of Lowes or Home Depot, and get the hangers, they look like a "J". Mount the hangers and snap the pipe into them.Re: Sway caused accident on I-75Hi back to you, M GO BLUE! OK... So what I gather from this thread is ...everyone disagrees what is a viable TV. I am glad all involved in wreck will be OK. Seems to me all manufacturers have standards dictated by state and federal laws. While some may feel better with their "choice" of TV, it truely matters what experience you have towing and your equipment/reaction time/experience. Also, as I mentioned in my earlier post, the equipment you have matters a great deal regardless of your TV. I have been towing 5yrs, and, paying attention to MY new setup, MY experience, and MY equipment...I need a safer setup to protect my family and others on the road! Each accident has circumstances that we can only assume what the cause was, and until you have lived it, you just dont really know. Look at your own situation and adjust accordingly. I am sure this family felt they were doing things right and tried to prevent this mishap. I just wish safety for our rigs came at a more affordable price. Greed kills.Re: Sway caused accident on I-75Well I recently went to a 30' TT and a 2012 F150,4x4 crew WITH sway control (friction) and if there is any wind, it will sway a ton! White knuckle all the way. looking for different setup as I am typing.Re: Window leakBuy clear silicone caulk and go around the window frame (outside). Tape off if you dont have a steady hand.Re: RV Whosalers in OHIOAlmost bought as the price was great but after talking to local dealers...only concern is servicing/warranty your trailer at later date. They say they have good network but couldnt give me exact info when I asked.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TURK, what park is that?
