Thank you. KCRe: Top Three Class B's, one (1) thru. three (3)!Chuck I agree with you. I have been doing the same research and If we were going to down size now ARV would be the way to go. If a new one was to much $$$ I would get a used one. I have talked and email them on a lot of questions, they get back quickly. KCRe: Satellite tv wa8yxm wrote: Ok, Antennas come in 2x2 types Roof top (usually automatic) and Portable Dish and dome Domes can see ONE satallite at a time, And only one Frequency band. Work well with a SINGLE CHANNEL DISH receiver.. Do not work with DirecHDTV (work for the time with SDTV but that is on the chopping block in a few years). NOTE: if you have more than one receiver, or a multi-channel receiver, Domes only work when all receivers want the same satallite, both services use 3. And again Domes on Direct only work with one of those. The SD one. DISH type antennas: there are several types.. You get the one that matches your receiver and service, be it Dish or Direct, and it WORKS.. Well, Usually. Rooftop or Portable. A fully automated Rooftop, You park, push button Watch TV.. BUT... What if you are parked under the evil signal eating tree? (No joy there) Portables set up takes a bit longer, epically with a DISH, but.. You can set it up away from said tree. well said, I have both for my Direct TV. I also plan my sites out by getting sat views of the campground and check on the Tree line. It doesn't always work but It Ive learned. KCRe: Satellite tvWe have Direct TV at home, so when I bought our current RV we had a Travl'er dish set up on the roof for HD TV in our RV. We have two receivers that we take and leave in the RV. The only downfall is Trees can block your signal. But I have learned when making reservation to pick a spot based on trees. KCRe: Good GPS for Class A motorhomeI use my iPhone, with the coach radio mirror ability and RV Copilot and Inrix traffic app. KCRe: How do I get Direct Tv for my RVWe have Direct TV for our home, but I bought a HD receiver/DVR for our RV only. No issue, they just sent it to me. I have a Travl'er dish and two receiver for the RV. I only get local channels in Michigan. KCRe: How do you answer when a stranger asks about MPG?I tell non RV owners, "if you are worried about MPG, don't get a MH" but remember its a home driving down our roads. Owner of MH I tell 6 to 9 MPG. KCRe: Bellville Camping worldLippert sewer hose, hose came off from end piece. KCBellville Camping worldJust wanted to post a comment about Tina a manager at the camping world in Bellville MI. I had a issue with a product I bought there in April. I contact the manufacture and they washed there hands of it blaming Camping world (not sure why, they just sold it) Call and talked with Tina who made a bunch of calls and took care of the issue. Great customer service!!!!! Thanks Kevin CookRe: dead battery on toadIm going to go a different route, I use a small solar panel that I put in my toad windshield, and run the cable from that to the battery in the engine compartment (out DS door under hood) It has a system to make sure you battery doesn't get over charged. Easy to set up. KC
