Hi just installed the kit Dometic Single Control Kit LCD Cool Furnace Black Thermostat 3313189.015 Digital Replacement Kit Analog Thermostat 3106995.032 it was a challenge but after talking to my RV dealer mechanic all went well works great now no temp swings in air conditioner or furnace cool pardon my vernacular. the pictures were helpful but I had a question about the 12v + AND 12V- WIRES AS THEY WERE NOT THE SAME COLOR BUT WIRED UP THE SAME AS THE DIAGRAM ALL ELSE WENT WHERE THEY NEEDED TO BE! installed the new freeze sensor all's well here thanks for your post.442Views0likes0CommentsRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.

Hi Guys ,I have a new genny its a 46538 in my stable today ! I seen so much on this Genny and thought I would get one! I have the electric key start yellow Champ but wanted to have one I didn't have to go out and then key start it plug in the RV and the after were done in the morning go out unplug the RV and shut it down ;-(. Well now I have the auto start and shut down . It ran right out of the box on the remote! I took it out to the RV parked in the back yard pad and plugged it in went in the fiver and saw the generator in the back of the yard and hit the key fob bingo it started right up and then I turned on the 13.000Btu brisk air duo therm air-conditioner and no problem it started right up with fan on high yepee! Then I ran the microwave yep it too was running all at once!! the 20" TV ran too! Well It should be a good asset to our camping enjoyment. My better half said she though it was quite to her ears too! Good Job Champion two thumbs up. IMHO This is the best unit to date for the features and quality PS I have three champs now all RV 30 amp plug units well I really enjoy ever ones post and get information on how others are having !All my Genny's are still running well and I feel they are a good backup for me!330Views0likes0CommentsRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.
Hi Floyd, Yes the GenTent does make a difference in the volume. I purchased a db gun and hoped to try it out but the memorial day outing is going to have to wait as it is predicted to rain and possible hail and lighting storms at the lake :-(. I will say I have an electric start champ with the poor mans drain kit and killavolt attached to . When I take the fifth wheel Wildcat RKLS 2002 out we put the Genny in the back of the bed behind the rear passenger window. ( Chevy 3/4 hd silverado 6L gas engine ls club cab) The Position gives some easy access to the plug-ins on the Genny . When I do get out in a couple of weeks I will take heat gun and db gun test for sure. The ear is the best gauge I think and there is a real noticeable sound reduction and it hides the Genny from prying eyes and the sound police out of my direction! So stay tuned Ron PS No I don't mind the poor weather but my camping buddy shes my wife of 35yrs is a teacher and she is still teaching this week so I need give her time to get ready for the summer ;-) PS Norwegian and German too! Hello This is the web site to purchase SuperGen Tent, a Lazy Mans Oil Drain kit, and a KillAVolt I have them all they are great! http://supergenproducts.com/ We enjoy ours. It does make the oil question a quick look and you can see the status. The tent also does quiet the gen and still lets it breathe to get rid of the heat without extra fans. I got the killavolt just to protect my trailer equipment! Now I have peace of mind on my trailer. Ps I don't work for this company, just a satisfied customer. I would like to get one of the electric remote start Genny from Champion! I saw one on u tube Its pretty cool not having to go outside to start and stop the gen! Lets go camping! For those who have had questions about the possibility of high altitude adjustment on the Champion generators, I was able to obtain the following information. When considering tampering with the limiter cap over a screw adjustment: This adjustment affects only the air bypass valve and will not give hardly any noticeable change in the mixture for altitude change. Also making adjustments on the carburetor that are sealed are illegal inside California and should not considered to make a local business play with it and chance a Federal EPA violation and a $10000 fine to go with it. There are after market kits with disclaimers that those with an altitude problem can use provided they do their own installation. Best thing to do is check with the manufacturer for any ideas to assist you of legal adjustments that can be made. Don't expect a magic wand for altitude issues until the manufacturers start using fuel injection and micro computers to meter the exact amounts of fuel and air as the altitude changes. Hi this is the fellow traveler and yes I RUN my Gen the back of my truck bed right behind my cab that also where it rides when I travel and I just reach over the side bed and Plug in my 30' Wildcat fifth wheel and yes it is quieter down in the bed! no modifications just gas it up and pull the rope and it starts! several times I've had people come over and wonder what I have running and they are surprised to see the Champion and not a Honda? In fact the last time last fall and a lake camp ground I was next to a 35k Honda and the owner ask me if my Gen would run his 15 Ac and yes it did and his big screen TV and microwave to boot! the Honda wouldn't keep up! and he paid $1800. used go figure? He was going to buy a champion the next week for himself and his son's family IMHO Champion makes a good product and will most of all back up said Gen!
