Oregon travel
We would like to make a trip to the Columbia River gorge area and the Oregon coast this summer but I have heard that reservations are a must in most locations. I really hate making reservation more than a few days in advance as we are then tied to the calendar. Fayette SP on the garden peninsula(pit toilets, no showers but a neat/interesting restored Iron Mining/smelting town along Lake Michigan, well worth the visit, very quiet). Bewabic SP at Crystal Falls, Copper Harbor SP. Brimley SP (only go mid week and not on or near holidays as the park fills with Canadians)no disrespect, just fact! Can someone provide me with the road condition between Border City and Haines Jct. Last year when coming through that area it was a mess because of construction. Is that still the case or has that been completed? Will be using that route in late June. If still a mess will use Top of the World Hwy. instead. I have one of these and it really sucks :) We have a Pug that rides with us in our tow vehicle and she sheds like crazy. This little vacuum really works.
