I can go almost 600 miles before having to fill up. we still stop for bladder and food breaks but, sure beats huntin down a fuel stop with the 5th wheel in tow.Re: New auxilliary tankLooking at it, I suspect you're right. That's probably why they say to fill the stock tank first.Re: New auxilliary tankok,I'll hook her up and see how it goes, thank you!New auxilliary tankHowdy Folks I just got a new 46 gallon aux fuel tank for my '17 F350 diesel. I'm good on installation of the tank and Fuel Shotz fuel transfer system. My question is: when the fuel line is open from the aux tank in the truck bed, what keeps fuel from flowing out of the stock tanks vent line? I have not yet installed anything as I am waiting to see if anyone has used this system successfully or can give me some advice.Re: Age of travel trailerWe bought a FEMA TT (I know "shudder")from a dealer two years ago. It's a 2006 and while not the prettiest thing, we've only had to replace the tires and battery. Everything else works fine. We paid 6500.00 and figure to keep it 2 more years and then get something newer. Good deals can be found but, like they said above, be careful and check everything out.Re: prodigy p3 questionMine shows a "C" when connected and numbers when breaking. You can also hear the trailer brakes hum when standing next to it during breaking (backing in to site etc.).Re: Traveling with a full water tankThank you all for your replies. I sorta figured it was rather uncommon as I had never heard of it happening prior to this. I suppose it's one of those things that when it happens it gets a lot of attention. Thanks again.Traveling with a full water tankMy wife has been researching TT in anticipation of buying a new one and came across an interesting comment. A fellow camper was traveling with a full water tank and at some point on the journey, the tank fell off while driving. When they contacted the manufacturer they were told it is not covered under warranty. Further, they were told that the warranty specifically warns against this practice. I know we travel with a full tank (30 gallons)if we know there is no hookup where we are going and after reading the forums for some time it appears to be a common practice. Any of you folks heard about this or had any experience with a self ejecting tank?Re: Thousand Islands and then to MaineI'll second the Association Island recomendation. we were there just a week ago. It's really nice and there were always some sites available.Re: Route 84 in PAWe never really fix our potholes in PA. We just move them around.
