BillLooking for a CG with transportation to Atlanta's airportI am looking for suggestions on where I can park my Motorhome and toad for 3 months while I am out of the country. Best case would be a campground that had shuttle serves to Hartsfield airport, or public transportation. I am open to any and all options including being farther away as long as I can get back and forth from the airport.Re: Colter Bay Village RV - the only kid in town?We spent 2 weeks at Gros Ventre Campground, but its a simple boondocking campground and while there we had 4 bull moose bed down about 100 yards from our campsite for two nights and a few days later a cow moose with twins was less than 50 yards from our site. We did stay at the Head Waters CG,reserve and even with the America the Beautiful pass its expensive. Coulter Bay was booked up, and they were doing some electrical work and had a section close last Sept. If one of you is over 62 you can get the ATB pass at any NP entrance and it will save you a ton of money. Also if you choose one of the full hookup CG make advanced reservations, cause they have the only game in town!Re: Shuttle service to SFO airportThanks I will check them out.Re: Shuttle service to SFO airportWell the deed is done, and it worked like it was suggested. We did a trial run on Sunday and did the tourist thing, which really paid off on Tuesday. We arrived on the bridge at the suggested time and breezed all the way to the hotel with hours to spare, so we did more tourist stuff.Re: Shuttle service to SFO airportThanks J-Mans Dad. We are going in to the city today as tourist and we will check out your route for Tuesdays adventure.Re: Shuttle service to SFO airportWell we have moved to Vacaville and my wife leaves Wed. early AM so we have a reservation at an airport hotel that has a 24 hour shuttle service so that part has been taken care of. My question now is a route from here in Vacaville across the bridges or around either end of the bay? Whats the best or easiest way to get this done?Re: Shuttle service to SFO airportYou can't get this of good intelligence anywhere else. I would have not known about a pending strike until it made the national news, and possible not even then. We are leaving Bozeman, Mt. tomorrow heading in that general direction. My wife's flight is at 9am so its going to be right in the morning rush, so the hotel with shuttle service is looking more likely all the time. BillRe: Shuttle service to SFO airportThanks all! We have considered going to a hotel that has shuttle service, and with the reports on the roads and area we may well do that, and I will find a cg out in the valley to wait for my wife's return.Re: Shuttle service to SFO airportWow! I knew this forum was the right place to ask for information. Now I have to do some research and see what will work for use. Thanks Bill
