No messing around with vehicle wiring, just plug into the trailer socket and the light bar plugs into a power point in the toad. LEDs use minimal power, I have never had a battery drain problem. Just remember to put it inside at night.Re: Exhaust brake quit workingIf it's a PAC brake, a likely cause is lack of lubrication on the pivot. It's not difficult to remove the unit, and if it can be freed, great. I had to have the exhaust brake replaced on my motorhome shortly after I got it, and it wasn't hugely expensive. I subsequently replaced it again with an upgraded brake that is designed to be effective at lower engine rpm. Again, not a huge expense.Re: Fifth Wheel Hitch - tried searcingReese Elite series is another. I used one for years, a rubber bed mat gave enough additional height to clear the pucks.Re: Replaced "Kingdom", any value?https://kingconnect.com/satellite-support still in business.Re: Decals cracking!+1 on the rubber eraser wheel. They do a fantastic job and leave virtually no residue. It's what the body shops use.Re: 2011 Tiffin Phaeton no hydraulics....Help!!!Triple E for one still offers super service and advice on older models. They moved from the large Class A motorhomes to the Mercedes van units (Leisure Travel) in about 2010 but I still get good advice and many parts from them for my 2003. I just yesterday received a windshield trim kit from them.Re: Cab over Camper shell?Google the term "mobile treatment center". You will find several manufacturers of fibreglass shells which could easily suit your purpose.Re: HWH customer service phone number is a jokeI have had dealings with HWH twice. Once indirectly through Triple E when a hydraulic hose developed a leak - they sent a replacement quickly and charged almost nothing. The second time was when I ordered a set of jack springs. They arrived promptly and reasonably priced. They were most helpful on the phone when I ordered the springs. They are fantastic to deal with.Re: Freightliner OdometerSome Freightliner odo's will indicate both miles and kilometers. You press and hold the trip reset switch when it is in total distance mode. A reading of 100K miles would switch to a reading of 160K kilometers.Re: Unsuccessfully trying to upgrade my exhaust brakeIs it possible that your original was made by Jacobs (the Jake people)? They supplied exhaust brakes for some engines of that vintage. I agree with Brett Wolfe, you should be contacting PacBrake directly - they will be able to tell you what part you need better than any dealer or reseller. I have found them to be incredibly helpful.
