I do know that if you're found to be a match, then my insurance will pay for the procedure --which does not hurt! I've had bone marrow taken twice from my hip and all they gave me was Adavan(?) or I think it was Adavan. I felt a pinch and had a great buzz. The end. Last time I made my son take pictures. Truth. How often you get to see your own bone marrow? As for The Trip, I figure due west through WI and to my buddy Fred's place in MN, where we will wash our clothes, shower and use up all his hot water. Then to So Dakota because Marge has to see the Badlands. Hell, everyone should see the Badlands. And a couple days in Deadwood; last time I was there, it was nothing. Apparently the TV show did wonders for the town. Then the Tetons and west to Tinker & Linda's for more free hot water. Then north through BC. For a long time. I haven't been to Idaho in years, but we may just show up. We'll be dirty, hungry and tired. Unless my hair grows back, you won't be able to miss us ;) Mark, where are you? I love driving so just tell me. ps: Cats. I am bringing Kitty. Most of the chemo chemicals must be out of me because he's taken to 'grooming' my hair again. Only I have very little of that and do you have any idea what a cat's tongue feels like on your scalp.Re: How many of us are there? I was wondering where you have been?I will keep you, in my prayers..Please keep us informed, Have great or better evening.. ben Thanks, Ben. You want to do something? Buy a toy. I have too many. ;) That old saying "he who dies with the most toys wins" is BS. Whoever dies with the most toys gets sold up for pennies on the dollar at auction and I want my offspring to have a couple of dollars. Besides, they'd never figure out what goes with which or what it's worth. Oi. Seriously, I intend to drive to the Arctic Circle. Marge came in last night and asked me what I was doing, then said "Can I go?" Sure, she can. She can drive part of the way, too. ;)Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's? Leeann wrote: Trish, what blood type are you? I'm O+ if that's of any help. If you are, too, I'll get tested at my local hospital. Woman, you rock. O+ here, too. My hospital (of choice, which is a great story about being lifeflighted during a blizzard ... this******doesn't happen to normal people) is the OSU Wexner Center in Columbus. Dr Devine is in charge of the bone marrow list. Catherine Walsh is my look-doc. We have a deal: she has to get me through this more or less intact then I have to teach her to ride a motorcycle. You don't get cool doctors in regular hospitals. Thanks, Leeann.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Hola. Yes, I went missing for a while but hey. Leukemia entitles you to bug out for a bit. On that topic, I have one more round of 5-day chemo and no bone marrow donor in sight. So I'll probably sell up. All my toys. Fella's coming to look at the Merc and another's interested in the S-10. This leaves my excellent Avon inflatable boat (with 2 outboards and a slew of original stuff in as-new condition) and the Travco. Takers? Because this forum has been my lifeline so many times, the Travco is sorta-kinda FS to any Dodge C members first. I may not. But I have this yen to drive to Alaska while i can and that means a truck & pickup camper. The Dempster would destroy the Travco.Re: How many of us are there? Or modify any existing cable. Online, google "vintage RVs" and good luck, eyeteeth.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's? Sue Bee wrote: What's one more Travco or cat?. The problems I have are the following: I don't know how to get my furnace and hot-water heater going, also don't know how to hook up/test my generator, fridge is not working, and I have some structural problems as well. I decided to buy this and live in it because I couldn't find a place to rent in my income bracket that wasn't in the ghetto, so I am currently parked and plugged in at a friend's house in Nashville. also, does my model use fuel filters, cuz I had to get my carb rebuilt recently and I don't wanna have to pay for that again, Yes to fuel filters. Search this thread on how to operate and troubleshoot both the furnace and hot water heater. Keep searching this thread on your fridge's problems as well as the generator.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Now, that's a nifty trailer. Not only way above my pay grade, but half as long again as my old 210. Could probably push the Travco down the road; definitely down a hill. I got Petey's hubcaps, one's dome was bent (not on the lettering!) and we beat it back to round with a rubber mallet. And my grandmother's huge wooden salad bowl, circa 1947, made from a CA redwood. Don't yell at me, I didn't do it... I just kept it.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Yeah, you do. Better get on that... ;-0) 79powerwagon wrote: Sweet!
