Check with Fish and Game to make sure they haven't stopped fishing in some areas due to the drought. Northern part of the state near the Canyon is fine but when you get closer to Phoenix the river beds are completely dry.Re: An EV motor home/van?Wouldn't use one as a bug out vehicle, that's for sure.Re: 89A Flagstaff to Sedona...Sounds awesome. Important question-what is the name of the burger joint? We are headed out there soon.Re: A change is coming...I think you traded up!Re: Maine Coastal Campground SuggestionsThat KOA is way overpriced. Yes, for many it's out of reach. My attitude is if it's where I want to be when I want to be there it's not "overpriced", it's just cost of doing business so-to-speak. I consider myself very lucky.Re: Maine Coastal Campground SuggestionsBar Harbor KOA. Beautiful sunsets, lobster dinners, good amenities but pricey.Re: In case you wonderIt's not just about the recycling. The ferry from NS to NFL does shut down from time to time for bad weather. We got stuck in NS the last time we tried to go there and had to revert to Plan B.Re: SC to Maine, our first long tripDefinitely Acadia in Maine. The Camden/Boothbay area is very quaint. Good restaurants, shops, lots of activities like sailing. White Mountains in NH are beautiful. Portsmouth, NH is on the water. Again, restaurants, shops and activities. Where you should go depends on what you like to do and what time of year you will be up this way. WARNING: Campgrounds book up fast in New England. It's a short season with lots of people competing for sites. If you are visiting during shoulder seasons then booking in advance isn't as necessary. If you are coming hear during peak season then you may have difficulty finding sites.Re: Customer ServiceHave you contacted anyone at Thousand Trails? It's possible you got hijacked to a fake website.
