I looked at both on the lot when we purchased ours. The only real difference we found was a better mattress, nicer cabinet doors, and the sofa had arms in the 26bh. We love our trailer and have camped almost 30 days this year already, we have not had an issue yet with the trailer.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tragusa3 wrote: I posted this elsewhere, but probably not seen by most on my little thread. This past Friday, we picked up our little 15' bunkhouse. Family of 4 coming from a 30 year old tent to this. Our last trip was a beach trip in the rain. Our tent leaked like it was made of screen. One miserable weekend. Let's toast to not another night sleeping in a puddle! I would love to see a floor plan and some inside pics if you get a chance. I'm curious about a 15' bunkhouse, my 26' feels small.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics here JENCOX5508 wrote: WE have a Chevy Duramax 2500...What would be a good size to look at? Head to the tow vehicle section to ask more but you also need to know the year of vehicle, bed length, cab style, 4x4 or 4x2. With that info plus who will be in the truck and what weight wise you can then figure out what you can safely haul with the truck.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics here JENCOX5508 wrote: Do most of you have dually's with you 5th wheels? It will depend on the size of the 5'er. From what I see in campgrounds there are plenty of people pulling with SRW (single rear wheel) rigs. I also see many that are way over loaded and they should be using a DRW. I don't currently have a 5'er but now that I have a diesel 250 the wife has been eyeing them. If we get one it wont be a huge one, just something decent sized well within my tow and vehicle ratings.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereIt has a little extra, but not much.Re: Post your tow vehicle pics hereMy "new" truck 2005 Ford F-250 6.0l Diesel. Last month I made my 1st new TT purchase (Jayco Jay Flight Swift 264BH, and must say I am very pleased with it. While I do enjoy camping, mostly it will be used as a home away from home while working at various jobs. The amount I am saving in gas per month by living closer to my work location more than pays for the RV. I am single, but share the space with two dogs and a cat. I have found some very useful info on this forum and hope to become an active participant. Happy trails! BTW.. No the Mustang will not tow it :p We just bought the same camper and love it as well. We did not get the power tongue jack as the dealer only had the ones with power jack and awning that did not have an oven, something we use all the time.Re: HEY we need a sticky for our TT pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Here is our brand new Jayco Jay Flight Swift 264BH Re: Post your tow vehicle pics here2006 GMC Yukon Re: ~Post your campsite photos here~Richey Cove outside of Council Grove, KS. Site 49 listed as difficult to back into. Had no water but did have power. By far the most shade of any other site once I got backed into it.
