When they re-did the road in front of my house and change the grade they had to replace my driveway. It took them 3 times to get the grade correct so I could get my RV out. If I ever buy a new RV I will have to bring it home and make sure it will fit before I buy it.Re: Kansas City to Yellowstone best routeA few years ago, I took I-90 across South Dakota. Easy drive but you need to make sure you fill up before leaving the east part of the state because there is not much in the middle of SD especially on a Sunday until you reach Rapid City.Re: Fire, CO, and Propane Safety Inputs sought...About seven years ago they changed the powder in ABC type extinguishers so it no longer packs down like flour. So if your extinguishers have been serviced or are new than there is no need to shake or flip. Add an extinguisher in your vehicle, this way if you are traveling you don't have to unlock the camper to get an extinguisher. If you need a 2nd one for the camper, then it forces you to get outside to safety before getting a 2nd extinguisher. Never go to the bedroom to get the 2nd extinguisher. ALWAYS have the fire in front of you and the exit behind you!! ALWAYS but ALWAYS dial 911 first. OUTSTANDING job with regards to your safety.Camping World and Nascar TrucksThanks for renewing as title sponsor for the Nascar Truck series at Kansas, my home track. I work at the tracks and I'm surprised that you don't have a mobile store that sales parts and accessories to all the campers at the track.Re: 2 rv parksCheck out Point Mallard Park in Decatur. We stayed there about 8 years ago and was awesome. Great little water park close by and some nice walking trails.Re: I have a mess and need help pleaseIt's hard to tell what type of fitting is that black fitting. I wonder if the hose coming from the left is to big of inside diameter for the black fitting. If there is to big of difference screwing down the clamp won't help. Take the metal clamp off, if the hose is really lose that might be a problem.Re: Have you ever pulled into a weigh station? When I went through Minnesota a couple of years ago, I never stopped.Re: Carbon Monoxide from FurnaceCo is produced as a by product of incomplete combustion. After making sure that you have the correct flame the next issue is exhaust. Something probably was not hooked up and was allowing exhaust gas back into the camper. CO detector's going off in two ways. A rapid build up and a gradual build up over time. I always recommend a model with a LED readout. You can see a problem developing way before it becomes dangerous. Don't forget to check the water heater for issues. Just be careful because I've seen a lot of furnaces in houses being replaced do to "CO" issues when it turns out it was a blocked exhaust pipe.Re: Rte. 36 Kansas & MissouriI'm familiar with 36 from Missouri to central Kansas. It's a 2 lane road in decent condition. There is a lot of truck traffic. My family is from Belleville which is about half way across the state. They have a great City park with hookups that would make a great overnight stop.Re: COG - I broke a cardinal rule...go easy on meYou might change your shocks. I pull a 5th wheel but it had a problem with "porpising". A new set of shocks on the rear made an amazing difference.
