I'll pass this information on to my friend. The old question of what size truck do I needI'm asking this question for a friend as I'm a truck camper and know squat about towing a fifth wheel. I need your expert advice. The friend has a toy hauler which can be converted into a horse trailer which can weigh as much as 19k lbs. He's looking for a used truck but doesn't know what make, diesel or gas, engine size, rear end ratio, etc. he would need to pull that weight. Thanks for any help you can offer.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today? After 10 years it was time to replace the seals in my toilet....thought the job would be worse than it actually was. Ordered the parts from Thetford in Ann Arbor, MIRe: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?Once the snow & ice melt off my Lance I'll be able to unload it and start going over all the exterior...wash, caulk, wax, check all the bulbs. Nothing to do to the interior as it was spotless when I closed it up last Fall. The 3500 dually will get a going over with the regular maintance. It's been a long cold Winter here in S.E. Michigan and it still isn't over.Re: TC travels, 2014 TR, Pg 904, 2015 TR pg 964If you get up to Dover, OH on I-77 there is the Warther Museum of train carvings. I've been there and it's a great display of a very talented carver. Also West of I-77 is Sugar Creek. Amish country. Took a bus tour of the countryside that was interesting.Re: TC travels, 2014 TR, Pg 904, 2015 TR pg 964Chet, If you get this far North with an a/c gasket I'll help you change it. Leaf color isn't that great yet and the roads are still bad but I haven't sold my tools.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today? freddypinak wrote: Finished loading the camper and added water. Hooked up the motorcycle trailer and tested the lights. We're leave for Alaska in the morning! Being in Alaska was the best 2 month vacation ever. Have a wonderful adventure in AK.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today? Finally some warm/hot days here in S.E. Michigan. Black streaks removed, camper washed. Next Several costs of wax & 303 Protectant. Late start this year because of all the rain & cold weather we've had.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?Since the camper is off the truck for more maintenance and with the storms in the Midwest heading my way I decided to put blocks & jackscrews under the camper for more support just in case. Feeling bad for the folks who have lost everything in those tornadoes.Re: Ever See One of These?Saw one of these covered up in a campground in Homer, AK
