Beats campground laundries or running into town to do laundry. Of course, we only use it with full hookups as it does fill up the gray water tank. We aren't full time but like to be gone for a couple of weeks at a time. As someone mentioned, it's nice to get home with only a few dirty clothes.Re: Been looking for months.....Help!Newmar Dutch Star - 41', opposing slides, washer/dryer, 4-door gas/electric fridge. 2005 model year. (Again). Montana and WyomingI would suggest initially figuring out how far you are going to drive each day, add a day or two for problems, and then see how many parks you can reasonably make in the time you have.Re: WA to MD in JAN!!! Help!!We just got home from driving a motorhome pulling a car from Seattle to mid-Michigan. The trip is doable - we came across on I-80 and had to stay an extra night at a couple of RV parks because of weather. We found open RV parks along this route with full hook-ups including water coming from heated hookups. We do have heated tanks and wouldn't try the trip anticipating using your onboard water without some kind of heat for your wet bay. we had a few single digit nights on our way home. Be prepared to have to stop as they do literally close the interstates in bad weather and Oregon does require you have chains aboard. Keep an eye on each state's DOT website for road conditions. We found those to be extremely helpful. It is doable if you are prepared.Michigan to Seattle over Thanksgiving? We need to be in Seattle for a meeting Thanksgiving week. We are currently debating whether to drive the motorhome or fly and hotel it. Cost is basically the same either way if only 1 goes but if we both go it quickly becomes favorable to take the motorhome. Is it doable? We are both retired so time is not a problem. We can follow the weather and plan accordingly. Thanks!Re: campgroundsHickory Hollow is in Utica/LaSalle, Illinois, right off of I-80Re: campgroundsWe use Hickory Hollow as an overnight stop when travelling to Wisconsin or Iowa from mid-Michigan. It is a nice campground for an overnight stop.
