However you did say something interesting about the front end being light. It is possible that if you are running to light on the front it will cause odd tire wear.Re: Obtaining permits while in MexicoThis actually happened to me also. A drove from Oregon to Salamanca Mexico crossing at Santa Teresa by Juarez. Crossed early on a Sunday morning and must have been half asleep because it took me about 4 hours south before I realized that I didn't have any documentation to show anything. No trip permit no stamp in my passport nothing. Called the mexican consulate and told me that since I was scheduled to fly out to see immigration at the airport. 2 weeks after crossing and at the Guadalajara airport I went to immigration and they took care of everything it did cost me a fine of like 1,500 pesos but it all got taken care of. You might try calling the airport and see if they can help you. Hope it all works out.Re: Class C Privacy Curtain??When I bought my class C it did not have a good curtain so I made one. Went to Micheal's fabrics and bought a color matching heavy fabric and also a 1/4" foam sheet to line the inside for insulation purposes. I then glued the foam to the back of the material and sewed a hem all the way around the perimeter and added Velcro to attache around the drivers compartment. As a full timer I was looking for good coverage and insulating abilities it works great. FYI I had never sewed anything before I just took my time and used a sewing machine that I borrowed.Re: Thomas Payne, Rec Pro, or Best FurnitureI bought the RecPro. They take a $.07 paso per dollar + $4.99 fee for each transaction. This to me is by far he best way to go about getting peso's in Mexico. I can trasfer money and it drops into my Banorte account in about 15 minutes on weekdays. Then as long as you use the Banorte ATM's theres no fee.Re: I need to work on the front axle of my MHHere hold my beer!!:ERe: Best Place to Buy Torklift Tiedowns?I have a 2 year old set of fast guns with all of the locks that I am looking to sell if you would like to private message me we could work out a deal.
