Thank you for your information, the only reason I'm considering 101 is that all of the mountain passes have snow and require chains. I have a 2007.5 3500 Dodge and I believe that I have a blown exhaust manifold gasket, we are visiting in the area so I have no idea who I should take it to. I looked at the Dodge dealership in Cathedral City, but it received a few very negative reviews and my last experience with a Dodge dealer was less than satisfactory, so I was hoping someone could give me some advice on where to take my truck. Thank you rhagfo, we were in a campground without WiFi so I didn't see your post until now, we would have been OK with that highway, so we know better for next time. We stayed at the Hitch n Post in Panguitch to visit Bryce and used Mt Carmel Motel and RV Park for Zion. When we were there in early November the campground in Zion was full and they were still running the buses. Link for Mt.
