I don't have chains and the thoughts of having to pull my 5th wheel up a snow covered pass doesn't sit well with me.California Highway 20 or 299We are heading home and are trying to avoid the mountain passes between California and Oregon and want to cross over from I5 to 101 and wonder which of these routes is best for us pulling a 40 ft 5th wheel. Thanks MichaelShaw SatelliteWe just received a message from Shaw that as of March 28 all channels will be in HD does anyone know if this will have any effect on their pattern in the US?Re: Diesel Repair shop in Palm Springs Ca areaThanks for the advice, I'll try Pete's in the morning, 2 hours away without another vehicle really doesn't work, but thanks for the information.Diesel Repair shop in Palm Springs Ca areaI have a 2007.5 3500 Dodge and I believe that I have a blown exhaust manifold gasket, we are visiting in the area so I have no idea who I should take it to. I looked at the Dodge dealership in Cathedral City, but it received a few very negative reviews and my last experience with a Dodge dealer was less than satisfactory, so I was hoping someone could give me some advice on where to take my truck. Thanks MichaelRe: Oregon Highway 213Thank you rhagfo, we were in a campground without WiFi so I didn't see your post until now, we would have been OK with that highway, so we know better for next time. We are in Silver Spur RV park and it is a very nice park and quiet, thanks again for your information. MIchaelRe: Oregon Highway 213Thanks, we are actually heading to Silverton, but I'll take your advice and stick to I5, until exit 260. MichaelOregon Highway 213I was thinking of taking Highway 213 from Oregon City to Silverton is there anything that I have to be concerned about if pulling a 40 foot 5th wheel I'm 12.5 feet high. Thanks MichaelRe: Detroit to Tucson...three weeks...?We stayed at the Hitch n Post in Panguitch to visit Bryce and used Mt Carmel Motel and RV Park for Zion. When we were there in early November the campground in Zion was full and they were still running the buses. Link for Mt. Arizona. We did Bryce and Zion in early November last year, cold some snow but you should be fine in October. The lower Antelope canyon is unique.
